Got my second TP today from online sales, 12/10/08 according to ##RTN#.

just got my replacemnt for a lost phone. It was on back order for a few days.
receieved it today the 23rd. the build date is 12/10/08 . The arrow circle pad isn't working
right tho. pressing it left or right moves the curser up or down instead

question: I'm assuming the rectangle below the micro sd card slot is the water test mark. Is it suppose to be completely white, because mine is showing lines crossing each other. Haven't dropped or exposed phone to anything. Any advice is appreciated.

So the newer builds aren't new revisions... =[

Hopefully they'll be out by Q1 of next year

Just got a brand new replacement this time - build date 12/9/08 and this thing is rock solid. Keyboard slides well, sides are just as sensitive as middle, keyboard is lit pretty evenly (my last one had a gap on the keyboard with light shining through - very annoying). Home button doesn't seem raised either.

Could you verify your PRL # and if your Rom ver. ends in .4?

Sooo... uh, I may sound like a broken record, but if you think your screen is just as sensitive around the sides of the screen as it is in the center, can you please open the Notes application and, using your thumb, push down in the center until the dot appears, and drag it to the left side, using the same pressure? Tell us how much of a gap you have between where the line stops, and where the side of the screen is...

If this thing is as good as you have made it sound, then a lot of people will be very happy--assuming they can get their hands on one.

Also, if you could try making a 2 hour phone call, while on the charger, starting with 100% battery, and see if it drains at all... That's our biggest problem--the overheating...

Not a big deal to me, but there is some guy here who is insisting that PRL 60750 doesn't exist just because he works for Sprint and they didn't tell him about it, he says "it's a typo". I'm just trying to clear things up.

ok so i found out my d pad is outside the circle.. duh.

My water makr pads are red and white too, so that must be the new design.

my first TP had the smooth bottom, but this one has the dpad area raised slightly. oh well.
