The new rom only fixes issues with over the air activation. Otherwise it's the same thing

Re: Touch Pro Build Date

Sounds like the most infamous defect was not addressed.

Wow. Who really cares about a slightly-raised home key, or a squeaky battery, when you're comparing it to basic functionality?

Does anyone know if Verizon's TP has these issues? I know the Fuze does not, but that's because it is using GSM, which typically has better battery life, and more efficient radios in the first place.

So far battery drain is typical stock rom drain (it sux). You might want to consider a custom rom, Juggalo's rom is remarkable for battery life.
The main TP issue (IMO) is the radio heating when on long calls or streaming for extended periods, then the battery stops charging. It looks like this has not been addressed.

I noticed you had a PRL of 60750. There a way to make that into a prl file so we can manually update the phone?

Updating the PRL really doesn't do much, but you should be able to do it by calling customer service... I can usually do it on Sprint fairly easily--I think it's even part of the automated service.
