Bad Earpeice buzz even after Audio Para update - Page 3

I agree. First thing I noticed out of box was that I thought the Touch Pro sounded way better than my old Mogul. Literally, peoples voices sounded entirely different (closer to what they sound like in person).

I also don't even know what the buzzing sounds like, perhaps someone could throw together a quick .wav of speakerphone as well as earpiece output or something. Call me crazy, but if mine's got a bad speaker, I like it. I guess I should compare with my bluetooth headset, but speakerphone and earpiece right now don't sound different.

Same Problem here.. and the two fixes don't help. but yea, it seems more like a software issue than a hardware problem.. hopefully, there will be an update soon on this form the master chefs or HTC/Sprint..

btw.. if you guys haven't noticed, there is already an update for picture mail.. if you log on to your internet explorer on your cell phone and wait for the Sprint/HTC home page to load,

look under updates, there is an updated cab file for picture mail which you should install if you want to use it...

i already changed my homepage on internet explorer to mycast.orb.com

any chance you could post the cab? not that my picture mail doesn't work as it should

One thing I noticed as far as AudioPara3.csv goes is that there's another file in the /Windows directory called AudioPara3_Raphael#C.csv and every time I reset the the phone, AudioPara3.csv went back to the same size as AudioPara3_Raphael#C.csv so I renamed AudioPara3.csv to the other and then put it in there, now AudioPara3.csv stays and I *think* it sounds better than it did.

I don't have a TP yet but my heart goes out to you guys who are suffering from this issue

I've been eagerly anticipating this phone and it's just pathetic that it should ship in such a way. I'll save my soap-box rant for now...but I can't help but get frustrated upon reading about these problems

I'm just here to chime in that there are, in fact, models that don't have this issue, and it has to be a hardware problem. I'm a complete audiophile, so I would most definitely notice something like this, but I haven't experienced this issue at all.

yes, sounds like a blown speaker
