I sure wish manufacturers would find themselves a balancing point where they stop making it all about thinner, thinner, thinner and smaller, smaller, smaller and start leaving their phones the same size they were and use their miniaturization abilities to give us better battery life. This phone's size is, indeed, awesome, but I'd happily put up with it being slightly larger if it got me more life. Heck, that's why I'm willing to buy a darn extended battery for it.

I run push email and with the first day of heavy usage (only 10 minutes in actual calls, but lots of data and screen time) I got through the entire day with 10% battery remaining. It dropped quickly to 20% but then lasted a long time from there.

It will take a month before the batteries are broken in and we have real ideas as to their lifetime.

Hey do you guys think that seidio will be able to fit 1500 mAh or maybe 1600 mAh in the regular battery size for this phone that would be awesome.

It doesn't seem to be that bad, considering it's only the first few days of use. Like others are saying, we'll have to wait at least a week to get any results that are worthwhile.

I never found that the battery life increased drastically from breaking in the battery. At best it was about a 10% difference. I don't expect much more than I'm getting from this one. Still, I think it's going to be similar to our experience with the Mogul. Some people swore it had the best battery life while others like myself got the worst of it. Depends on overall usage.

Im going to say that this is slightly less than the mogul... if that extended battery cover doesnt add too much bulk i'll be purchasing it undoubtedly

I used my phone a lot the first full day (bought it Friday night, used it heavily for about an hour, made a phone call, at that point it was about dead so I threw it on charge. Used it fairly heavily all day Saturday and by about 6pm it was dead. So I threw it on charge, used it all day today and I still have about 30-40% left. Though today resembled more of a normal usage pattern for me as I didn't have much free time to just play around with the phone, so just some occasional texting, two phone calls, and a little bit of web surfing.

I noticed this as well. Once it hits 20%, seems to take significantly longer to completely finish off the battery.
