Re: d-pad
This is post really made me feel stupid because I think we're using the D-Pad wrong! I was pressing the wheel, well it turns out it is outside the wheel where the left and right are at. Best way that it was explained was this post:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=121 I no longer have issue's going left or right! |

Re: d-pad
so have people adjusted to the left/right quirks of the d-pad then by pushing out further to the sides as per those instructions?
i ask b/c infosyncworld's review really hammered the TP for having unusable left/right d-pad buttons, which sounds like it would be a major issue (i haven't been able to find a unit to play with)... http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/cell-phones/htc-touch-pro-(sprint)/9897.html Quote: We wish the wheel could have been used everywhere, because the 4-way controls are an abysmal failure. It's difficult to know where to press on the lipped crater of the center button, and we often found the HTC Touch Pro choosing one of the keys to the left or right of the button, all of which (Send, End, Back and Home) are disastrous when you only want to move the cursor around. When we tried up and down, we had better luck, but it still didn't work every time. |

Re: d-pad
LOL I had the same problem when I first got my TP. I thought I had a defective one. I eventually figured it how to press the left and right. Is this in the manual? Eh...who reads manuals.

Re: d-pad
Does anyone have a problem with their D-pad where one side is stiffer than the other ? ( Like mine is stiffer on the left side than the right)
