Re: Sprint Touch Pro owners... what don't you like about it?

Well I just got the touch pro tonight. After waiting so long for this phone I am a little frustrated. I am coming from a treo 650 and have an ipod touch.

Here is what I like so far:
1) Awesome screen. Best I have seen on any device.
2) keyboard is great.
3) programs open quickly.
4) browser is fast.
5) Dpad is fine for me.
6) You tube is great

Here is what I don't like.
1) Finger scrolling is very choppy. I find myself accidentally selecting items when I am trying to scroll.
2) Touching the ok button to close apps is very difficult. That area seems not to be very responsive.
3) Browser does not seem to re-size text as well as safari.
4) Windows mobile.

I think some of my disappointments will go away with experience. Windows mobile is very different from Palm os. Any suggestions on how to get around the OK button issue would be greatly appreciated as this is the most frustrating issue for me ATM.

That area of the screen (and all areas around the border) are indeed hard to press. Just so you know the back hard button is really an ok button (but labeled with a back arrow to not confuse novice users since it usually minimizes apps and goes back to what you were just on).

Re: Sprint Touch Pro owners... what don't you like about it?

I had the mogul for a bit. I just got the tp, and the only thing I miss is the side jogwheel thing. I love the tp. not as sluggish as the mogul. I don't have to worry about ram usage anymore. to be honest, the thing i hate most about the tp is the back cover. why couldn't they have made it a sleek black or even chrome to match the rest of the phone. What's with this champagne/bronzy silverish color?

I also wished that tfl3d was a little more responsive. (although its working better now that I've gotten the hang of it) I'm gonna try the diamond hack to see if that works.

I'm hoping that the touch HD will make HTC improve and focus on tfl3d.

the color of the back plate is fine in my opinion but it's so damned hard to get off!

when i go to take it off, i feel like imma break the phone. it sucks.

cant wait for the extended battery, if it happens and hopeully HTC/Sprint will make the diamond backing an accessory.

The back arrow hw button is the Ok/Close button.
