Re: Sprint Touch Pro owners... what don't you like about it?

Most of my complaints are related to Windows Mobile, but I also have these complaints about the Touch Pro:

-Screen too small
-D-pad is one of the worst I've ever used
-Volume buttons are too flush with device, not easy to press
-No headphone jack - included adapter is a big bulky joke
-Weather app only works with major cities so it's not accurate for my town
-Youtube links in Opera don't open in Youtube app, try to open in Windows Media Player and fail.
-Pocketable, but still too bulky in my opinion
-Every time you forget to close out of Youtube app it will stop you from being able to start another multimedia app.
-Screen not as responsive to taps as it should be

I've had it for less than 24 hours and so far I'm not thrilled by it.

Windows Mobile:

-Just about everything sucks (except the fact that it's so customizable)
-After 6+ versions of this OS they can't even make a decent battery life indicator

I have both the mogul and pro sitting on the table here and they are almost identical in thickness. The pro is shorter and thinner which makes it feel quite a bit smaller in your hand.

I also carried the mogul in my pocket and it was never a problem.

the dpad gets better once you realize you have to hit outside the circle (it took me a bit to realize that too... go further away from the center than your first instinct)...

there is a regedit to turn up the screen sensitivity - search the diamond forums... there is still a problem near the edges of the screen with sensitivity - you have to press pretty hard right up against the edge but meh it's not that bad... might get better as the plastic gets more flexible (I believe it is caused by the black border creating a small gap between the outer plastic of the screen and the touch sensitive part?)

haven't had the problem with the youtube app - hard reset?

cities can be added to the weather app...

not sure why you would use opera to browse youtube when you have an app to browse it for you?

the screen is a little small though, but the rest of the problems you listed I believe mostly have solutions...

I like it....it runs very smoothly and its pretty much what I was expecting. I guess if I had to say something I don't like about it...I would have to say the fact that there's no roms out for it yet

opera is awful if you're looking to do something quick, and the old htc 3-button home plugin does everything fine - i'm sorry, i don't need to look at 'photos and videos' from the home screen. the screen looks incredible, but even that poses a problem - a lot of programs look awful in the higher resolution.

there are only 2 things i really like about this phone: voice command works perfectly, and there is actually a dollar sign ($) on the hardware keyboard.

i'll try to keep an open mind over the next few weeks, but i'm 90% sure i'll just get a replacement mogul and sell this.
How much are you gonna sell it for?

i simply dont understand, uncheck tflo home screen plugin in settings->today and install whatever you use on the your mogul and install x or y browser you use on your mogul. i dont see the huge deal people make out of tlfo3d and opera (not the first post on these 2) if you dont like them dont use them thats whats great about WM. the hardware alone is a HUGE upgrade.

No wonder HTC doesn't take design advice from forums because some of you people are never satisfied.

Before the TP, everyone hated the Mogul, now the TP is out, you have people saying how awesome the Mogul was/is, and how they're going back to it..... lol
