I just got a Touch Pro today and so far I really like it other than the volume and crackliness of the phone - so I was really happy to find this post. I used Resco Explorer years ago on the Palm, so I went to the Resco site to check it out - the 'Resco Explorer 2008' looks great. Can I use the 'Windows Mobile Pocket PC' version or do I need to get the 'Windows Mobile Smartphone' version (which is the 2007 version and doesn't look as nice)?

Thanks! I figured that would be ok, but I didn't really understand the difference. I know there are smartphones that aren't Windows Mobile - but I didn't even know they still sold PDAs with Windows Mobile anymore. I still have to figure out hooking the phone to my PC, but then I should be set.

So I updated my sound file but it still sounds ****ty.. albeit its louder but still seems crackly and non clearish.

This file does not seem to increase my speaker volume for music playback. Was it supposed to?

I ran the full volume increase cab file, btw.

I used the lite version, and while it did up the audio, it seems like the audio is coming out of the speakerphone speaker and speakerphone is not on... everyone can hear my conversation :\

This method of fixing volumes has never worked completely. Its a trade off every time as to whether earpiece,speaker,bluetooth, or a combination will respond the way u like. In the end it seems as if people end up losing one of them all together or have problems like conversations out the speaker instead of the earpiece. Personally all of my volumes are perfectly fine on my pro but on my mogul and from what im reading here this hack is a crap shoot with the same odds.

i installed the lite version and I thought everything was fine...music sounds really nice but call volume is very very low...I can barely even hear the person I'm talking to on the phone...I'm going to try and use the higher volume one and see if it makes a difference....do I have to revert back to the original or can i just install over the lite version and soft reset?
