I used a copy I downloaded about 15-20 minutes ago. Is that the right timeframe for the 2 versions?

If you get a copy of WinCE Cab Manager, its really easy to make cabs.

Did you update the files? I have tried and tested both out unless you have another version, I'm more then willing to try anything you put out. I got great confidence in your work.

I'm sorry, do a search for it, it is a fantastic app that gives you a lot more then the normal file explorer does, and you can finger scroll in it like you do in the touch flow etc. It is really fast and snappy as well.

I'm an audio engineer and this sounds like the speaker or the circuit driving the speaker is clipping. My guess is its the speaker. What needs to happen is it sounds like the lower frequencies need to be reduced more as these seem to be the frequencies that are clipping and making the buzz. Im just guessing but it sounds like frequencies around 200hz and below.

Any Ideas I will retry things a 3rd times and pay closer attention to differences.

So fare thats the only GOTCHYA that would have me return this phone and stick with my Mogul ewww I hope it doesn't come to that.

I'm more then sure your phone needs to be replaced because there's no buzzing or hissing on my phone. It is really unfortunate that you got a phone with that issue, but I haven't ran into another TP that is plagued with the same issue.

I have attached a zip file with both the full volume and the lite-fix version. Unzip the file to the location of your choice. Copy the cab file to your phone, install and reboot.

Just as an FYI, when installing the cabs I posted, it gives you the option of installing to the device or the storage card. DO NOT pick the storage card or it won't work.

I just tested the light version on my TP. On speaker, BT and normal phone use, the light version is 100% where it needs to be! No distortion at all, it is very clear now, and I have the volume about 1/2 to talk! Even maxed out the calls are spot on! Tomorrow I'll see if I test out the Loud version on my gf's Diamond because the light wasn't loud enough on her phone. Thanks again for your great work!

I immediately noticed a difference after I installed the lite version. I agree with Lil Rico that it is spot on. Thanks bad boy for doing the initial work, then especially stroths for cabbing it up.

Yah I think my speaker is broken no one in their right mind would say things like "it is very clear now."
I did notice a change in audio quality but the only way I would have "No distortion" is to turn my volume down 4 notches just below half and this only works on the lite version.

I will post back if this fixes it.
