I thought this was the case too, but I don't believe it is, it's just loud... This can be confirmed by moving the slider out so the two speakers are no longer lined up...

Does anyone know how to tweek the volume keys on the side of the phone to make smaller gradations of adjustments? The gaps are too large, and smaller adjustments are available on the screen. Unfortunately, that isn't particularly convenient while you are on the phone...

ok I switched from the lite version to the full volume version and it's a whole lot better...I can actually hear people now...with the lite version I had my volume all the way up and my ear all over my earpiece on the phone and holding my other ear shut and I could barely hear the person on the phone....

I have tried the full and the lite and seem to notice ZERO difference. I get a bit of distortion or crackling type sounds with the volume all the way up. It doesn't seem that loud either. maybe I am hearing what I am supposed to, but am unsure. If I turn the volume down to get rid of crackling or vibration in the speaker, it's below half and I can't hear the other person. I used both of your .cabs, and soft reset after each, they both sounded the same

so i installed the lite version and my sound is crackly and worse than before. do you guys now how i can revert to the default manufacturer audiopara.csv? i didnt back the file up..

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe there was one there in the first place. You can just delete the audiopara3.csv from your \Windows directory.

I don't agree because once you drop the file in the /Windows directory with what ever file explore you use, it ask you to overwrite a file which tells me it exist. I don't think you can even delete the file because as far as I know since it controls the volume controls etc, the file will say that it is in use and that it cannot be deleted.


For those that have a cracking or weird buzzing noise, I would really look into getting a replacement. I tried this mod on my TP, my GF's Diamond and a buddy of mine who also had a TP and no buzzing or hissing etc. with good results after the mod.

Guys,
I read this post once I got my HTC touch pro, I am not sure if there is an issue with the volume. I just had to make sure I remove the protective covering on the phone and i can hear just fine.
Can others confirm that this is the case?
