As a web developer I couldn't resist and tried opening the CSV and checking it out but it's all greek to me. Is there a setting that lets you control the EQ of the audio? If we could just tone down the mid-range or add treble it would probably fix a lot of the problems people are having with the audio. Mine is plenty loud out of the box, just muffled and buzzy.

Agreed. I wish I knew exactly what the audiopara file could control... I had to design an EQ for the m2audio program--and I'd love to tinker with this too.

Ok I have Total Commander on my phone how do I finish the audio fix, I have never done anything like this before, do I download the file on my phone or cpu, and then what do I do. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried installing the full fix but didn't notice any change. Then in a final bit of frustration I did a hard reset and reloaded the full fix cab and boom! much louder. I called my bank's 1-800 number as a test before and after the hard reset and there is a big difference now. Still a bit buzzy, but I can live with it now that the volume is at least audible. If possible, the treble needs to be dropped and the mid boosted.

Wow, I think most people have the opposite problem. The treble is lacking, and the mid/bass is much too high..

thanks very much. i picked mine up yesterday and was immediately disappointed with the call volume. i put the cab on my SD card, ran it from the file browser on the Touch Pro. It did a soft reset and worked great. I chose the light amplification and it was good for me.

on the front page, theres 2 files. do i just install the touch pro audio fix?

It's a zip file. It has two separate cabs in it. I recommend going with the "LITE" version. You copy to your phone via activesync, then browse to it on your phone, and run it.
