Same here, the right button just doesn't respond sometimes. it's really annoying.....

Anyone know how to force the keyboard lights to stay on when the keyboard is extended? They shut off way too quickly.

Also is there some way to activate the "menu" from the keyboard? It seems silly to hit the "menu" on the screen and then be able to use the keyboard to navigate...

My phone will not send pics. I did the update, but no picture will actually send? any suggestions?

I'm experiencing missing menu text and invisible text while typing in landscape mode. I extend the keyboard, click on notes, and try to type in a new note and I get invisible letters. One it gets to the end of the line, the text will appear. if I close the keyboard, and use the on-screen keys, all text is visible.

Also, in landscape mode, if i go to send a new text message, where "New" would normally be on the menu, I simply see a "-".

The only things I've installed are .net compact framework 3.5 and Advanced Config tool. Can anyone else confirm this issue?

Well I found a solution after doing some Google searches, oddly enough help come from the Resco support boards: It worked for me, JOY! =D>
I just spent a little time with HTC customer support and they helped me figure out how to fix the Word Completion function on my Sprint HTC Touch with the new 6.1 ROM upgrade. Mine worked fine in 6.0 but ceased to work with the upgrade. It turns out the problem has to do with the installation of the new Full QWERTY keyboard that came with the ROM upgrade. My Word Completion was not working in Block Recognizer, the original Keyboard or the Letter Recognizer UNTIL I did this simple fix.. I haven't downloaded this Rosco Keyboard application yet (I'm thinking of doing it now), but you might want to give this a try. Here is how to do it:
* After confirming that you have the box checked for "Suggest words when entering text" in the Word Completion tab found in Settings>Input.
* Open up a new email or text message.
* Go to the bottom of the screen and change your letter input method to Full QWERTY (using the down arrow next to the "pencil", "keyboard" , etc. icon).
* In the bottom left hand corner of this Full QWERTY keyboard, just to the right of CAPS/shift button, is a button to toggle between T9 and ABC.
* Click the button and make sure that T9 appears below ABC. Apparently the opposite appears as a default setting.
* Switch back to Block Recognizer, Keyboard or Letter Recognizer and Word Completion should be active for you!

If you're still having problems after all that try simply turning on the T9 function from the on-screen keyboard, that'll allow word completion to also work with the QWERTY keyboard as well.

Funny thing is i have had the phone all day and finally answered a call, to my suprise the volume is very loud and at times scratchy, I turned the volume control on the side of the phone all the way down but its still loud!!!

Scratchy is when the volume is too loud for the amplifier itself therefore resulting in some clipping.

I Keep gettin Picture MAil Error "G66: There was an error trying to register your phone" and yes i did the update with the online cab and i have pic mail for service on my account.. Anyone else with this problem????

Anybody else having issues with input lag? It works fine in basically every other app, but for some reason the threaded sms compose field just is glacially slow, lags behind my input.

if you put the the calendar to open in month agenda in the calendar options .. then when u actually open the calendar it will actually open in month agenda for a sec the switch to day agenda.. whats the deal with that. my Brother's sprint diamond does the same thing.?????? try it.

I had the same problem, I had to call Sprint. 1st see if you can go into the picturemail website and see if you can actually log in. If you can, give Sprint a call and have them help you update your username. I did that and it worked. Also, go to Start>Settings> System Tab and click on Update Profile, you might need that to do its thing. I did that and not only did it fix my picturemail issue because I couldn't send anything, it also allowed me to use the internet. Hope this helps.

there was a feature i was told about when it came to "diamonds" and "PROs"...

To silence your phone when ringing, simply turn it over. This feature is discussed is Sprints Employees pamphlet but when i try it, it doesnt work.

anyone know anything about this?

i think those were ideas cuz they also said if you shake the fone it would answer... idk if it's tru but hunny i think they were just throwin stuff out

Need TP unlocker. I bought unlock soft from XDA-Devs, but after formatting my pc I've lost it. Don't want to pay it again :confused:

it doesn't stick it keeps going back after a while then when I text i have to press t9 before typing for it to work!

Same here. There has to be a reg edit that can make the t9 default for that key.....unfortunately, I haven't found it yet.

I cannot get the Bluetooth to connect to my car's bluetooth. I have the Pioneer Avic D3 nav system witht he Pioneer BT installed. The TP keeps telling me that it's connected fine, but the Pioneer keeps saying connection error or invalid device. Any suggestions? Is anyone else having this issue?

I like the TouchFlo interface, but it really 'takes over' the entire today screen. I use SBSH's Pocketbreeze and they don't play nice with each other. I can put Pocketbreeze on the today screen only if I disable TouchFlo 3d. I have come to rely on Pocketbreeze for my appointments and the monthly calendar is great for checking future appointments because it gives you a summary of the day in any future month.
HTC home used to allow Pocketbreeze to co-exist on the today screen, but I don't see this option for Touchflo 3d. There looks to be the perfect place for another app when you flick upwards and make the clock small, but it just reveals more blank, unusable space.
Would be nice if there were an app like HTC Home Customizer for TouchFlo that would allow other applications to use this space, or even (gasp) a cube like interface for a second (or third) today screen.

A few things I'm having issues with:

1) Weather doesn't work when not connected to wi-fi
2) Issue with connection to Sprint network EV-DO when wi-fi is off

Anybody have any ideas why I can't connect to the Sprint network, when my wi-fi is off? Seems like that'd solve the issue with weather because when I was connected to my home wireless, weather worked just fine without any issues.

I had no internet this morning, though it worked OK yesterday. I called sprint, soft reset, now it works fine. The weather servers were down yesterday, works now.

The earpiece quality is pretty bad(Yes I took the plastic off) Not only is the volume really low, but there is crackling. Anyone else have crackling? Also, when I synced my contacts from exchange(either wireless or through pc) it would give me an error message that the device memory is full. The problem was with a couple of my contacts with pictures, once I deleted them it worked fine. My treo 800w never gave me this problem.

I have the same ear piece quality issue, sounds like the speaker is blown almost.

Is the scroll button supposed to work 4 ways? It seems to only work for up and down. When I press left or right I end up pressing one of the outer buttons.

Also, did everybody just get that ac attachment adaptor and 1 usb?

I just want to make sure there weren't supposed to be anymore cables than what I got. I kinda wish they had a regular ac adaptor included because now I have to buy another mini usb cable, just to connect at work and at home.

Yeah I had that problem trying to connect to my P4000DVD. I found a program that works wonders, so PM me and I'll let you know about it.

I'm having issues with the keyboard. It's doesn't input text. It used to work. If I have the onscreen keyboard out and start typing on the physical keyboard the onscreen keyboard closes, but still no text. It appears that the keyboard has been turned off? Anyone experienced this?

The left and right buttons are not well designed but with a little practice they do work. Pressing directly on the left and right of the dpad is error prone. Instead, press directly between the (home, call or back, end) buttons and slightly toward the dpad.

Home. . . . . Back
. . . x ( O ) x
Call. . . . . . End

I don't know how the diagram will look when I post, but press on the "x" rather than the side of the dpad "(" or ")".

I finally used the earpiece just now and it does sound like crap. I think I'm gonna wait until Sprint releases this phone officially and then return it.
