This post is to be used to identify software issues, glitches, bugs, and submit feature requests. The information provided will be used by certain individuals to gauge the current stability, performance, and overall functionality of the device.

This is not a thread to complain about your stylus falling out or to ask how to load ringtones. Use the general Touch Pro Forum for those and other issues.

Also, there is a review thread where you can post your impressions, pros, cons, etc. of the device.

If possible everyone please post how you are liking the phone since the phone recently had the updates done to it. I want to see if there are any issues with the updates, and also would like to check for new issues if there are any, Thank You.

Not sure if this is a feature already implemented or in the process of being implemented, but it would be awesome if there were a program to automatically adjust orientation of the screen according to the g-sensor at all times. From the reviews and my experience with the Diamond I hear that the gsensor is only active when viewing pictures and on Opera. It would be cool to also extend this feature across the entire OS.

That shouldnt be a problem, I will look into this on tuesday, or maybe we all can try to pull the interface from the TF3D and instead of allowing it to read one angel, set the interface to read all angles of rotation.

phone in general is great. im going to have to get used to the keyboard differences from the mogul. my mogul had very soft touch on the keys, TP keys are firm. not a complaint just a note. my mogul never got hot, this does get "warm". it may be that it is 4hrs old and i cant put it down.

Does anyone else have issues with the weather tab? I get connection error when trying to update. All my other connections are fine - push email, ie, opera all work.

There is a Program called GSen by 'SKKV Software'as well that does that

Same issue here. It updated once and now gives me the error even though all other data apps work fine.

verifiy the city, i came across this on the test model, normally what you need to do is set the city again and soft reset, then it should work.

i don't think Gsen works on CDMA devices yet.. but here is one that works on the sprint diamond..

This isnt working for me... I've soft reset it twice and it still doesn't work. Everything else works great though.

Ok a few questions, how do you get to the menu that shows what programs are running? Also, I am on the browser, but it stopped scrolling, it now copies when I drag the screen. Any ideas?

Which browser are you using? also the programs list should be on the Home screen by the clock in the main bar, TF3D will need to be closed to open it.

Have the same problem. Glad to know it isn't just me...

I do have to say... I thought it might just be the electrical field I am putting off over the excitement of having this thing! HEHE

I have noticed that TouchFlo does not seem to work properly outside of touchflo 3d. In windows or on the file explorer it works intermittently or not at all . . .



EDIT: Also, cprog.exe keeps crashing on mine, any idea what that's about?

And does anyone have any good calulcator skins that work?



EDIT2: That gyrator program doesn't work. Anyone else have a prog that will allow the screen to rotate in all programs instead of just pics?



EDIT3: Also, a working flashlight app would be nice. Nilisico turns the light on, but not off.

I noticed that TouchFlo seems to be intermittent in working as well. Also, I kepe getting random audiomanager crashes. There are a few other quirks that take getting used to as well.

On the hardware side of things, anyone else have funky keyboard backlighting, or is it just me? mine is brightest around the 2/3 buttons, 6, and 0/-/backspace.

I have the diamond and the weather is not working anymore, so I dont think its just the pro

It's confirmed the issue is with accuweather, not our phones. It's maintenance.

AudioManager_eng.exe keeps crashing, kind of annoying.

I don't have the issue with audiomanager but with cprog.exe. It keeps crashing over and over. I notice that it seems to be triggered whenever i go to regular WM interface. Like Remove Programs.

I got the weather just fine on my Touch. (Not the pro) . So not sure if its across the board with accuweather.

I would suggest you check your settings and make sure the gps port is set to com0 that should help you out greatly. What program(s) are you running with your gps on your shiny new device?

Oh yea, that's what I came on this thread to ask, Is the picturemail functionality the same as the Diamond after the update? Has anyone had any problems getting picturemail to work correctly?

Oh well, I'll take a minor issue that doesn't even matter like uneven keyboard lighting any day over the Mogul. I'd rather have weird looking backlighting on the keyboard than hotspots on the screen or keys that randomly don't work.

after you change the com port be sure to reset the device, also if you can use Google Maps. I don't know why but for some reason it communicates better with the gps port no matter what the com. Also I used to think livesearch was better than google maps but it's the other way around. I mean yea, livesearch has better routing and if you get lost it reroutes you but google maps actually shows the address on a street!! so if you zoom in all the way you can see the addresses. I didn't discover this until recently but it's pretty good knowing that we have options.

If anyone is having issues with TouchFlo working outside of the 3D app, install efrosts FTouchFlo. It works side by side with the built in one, with not conflicts that I can tell and fixes the responsiveness in other apps.

Are any of your phones doing the word suggestion in text messages? I know I have it enabled under the Settings>Input>Word Completion tab, but for some reason I don't see it correcting or predicting text while typing on my keyboard. Any one have any ideas how to fix this? Or is my phone just being stupid? Thanks in advance...
