I'm wondering if anyone is having issues syncing the sprint mail to their Touch Pro... If so, have you found a solution?

I did at first but after using BAFMSL grabber and seeing it turn off the radio to grab SPC. I did same thing after an hour of no sync after unboxing I went into airplane mode and viola new hardware found.

Ok I am having an issue with my touch pro, After I flashed it I am unable to reboot my TP without it hanging on the splash screen it just locks up and I then have to do a hard reset I am using Sprint Touch Pro and I flashed using PPCKitchen, anyone else have this issue could it be an OEM that I am using?

Let me try to better explain it... When I attempt to sync my e-mail, the phone is searching for the settings, it doesn't find them, whereas I've had no problem syncing the rest of my e-mail addresses. Is anyone experiencing that particular issue?

I"ve got a question guys, after about a week i can no longer use internet sharing will not work, I have to do a hard reset and it works fine for another week. side not wife has same phone and she hasnt had any problem both were bought at the some time. if it helps its a alltel phone that i got 1 month ago.

I may be having the same issue, and was going to start searching for an answer. If I find anything, I'll post it here. My issue is that when I start ICS, the "Connect" button is grayed out. It doesn't even try to connect. WinWiFiRouter isn't able to connect either. I had hard reset, and it worked for about a week as well. This started when I flashed to MightyROM 5 dated 6.9.09 a week ago. I might just wait for MightyROM 6, but everything else is working so well, I'd rather see if I can fix this.

Guys, please help I'm new in here, but i've been traveling around google searching for the answer.
My touch pro suddenly cannot create new email account. When I press/clicked the create new email account, there's nothing happen..It just wont go to the new email account screen (same thing happen when i tried to edit the email setting)

I search the google and find the answer (it said that GARMIN XT cause the problem), but i'm too affraid to do that because it related to deleting some key in registry. "it said that i have to delete all the keys in "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Svc\SMS\"
When i checked that registry there's a lot key in that registry i think all of that are important.

Please....someone help me, one thing for sure, I dont want to do hard reset (i dont want to lose my current rom)

I had an issue with the screen appearing chopped up at seemingly random times, but especially so when switching to landscape by sliding out the keyboard. I thought it might have been an issue with the flash, so I reflashed with Mighty, but it still persisted. I reflashed again, but with stock. The problem still persists, and was even present in the bootloader screen. Name Completion does not work anymore
 

All,
I have searched ppcgeeks forums to no avail. This same issue occurred in the Mogul where when typing in the To: field for either an email or SMS, the name is not filled in as you type. This just started happening about a week ago. Interestingly, at the same time, I started to have the dreaded keyboard issue where no letters or multiple letters are typed with each key press. There was a cab fix for it. But, I cannot find it now and I do not know if it would actually work on the TP. Has anyone else had this issue? If you have, did you get it fixed. Thanks for your help!

What exactly is the issue you're having? You can't type in the To: field?

You'd probably get more help if you make a thread in the Touch Pro forum here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=63

Other than that, the only keyboard fix I'm aware of removes the typing lag for messaging.

When I type the person's name in the To: field, I do not get the white drop-down box with the corresponding names. It only works once or twice after I soft-reset the phone.

Are you running a Touch Pro or Mogul? The Touch Pro should show a grey bar with a name suggestion at the bottom of the screen, with an option to press left/right to see other suggestions.

I am running the Touch Pro. I'm sorry that I'm not explaining this well enough. Let's say I want to send an SMS to Ben. So, I click New, and start typing in Ben in the To: field. As I type, I get a list of all of the Ben's that I have in my address book. Then, I can click on the correct contact to receive the text message. Does that make sense?

Alright, I understand now. I just tried a few settings and I can't seem to replicate your issue. The only thing that makes the addresses not appear is if you are using T9 mode on the screen keyboard.

Also, are you running the ROM that came with your phone?

I only use the slide-out keyboard. Stock ROM.

For some reason when I am using opera on my pro, it doesn't load images about 65% of the time. Anyone know how to fix this? I just had Sprint send me a new one thinking mine was defective but, this one does it too!!! It is really annoying....

I am having trouble with EPST on the Touch Pro.

After editing some settings in EPST, I press OK then the little box comes up asking if I want to update these items.

When I press OK to confirm an update, it does not finish updating and just turns off. This problem started happening after i flashed a new ROM (Caulkin's) but I tried re-flashing my Touch Pro with Longhorn and I still get that problem.

Any suggestions?

Have you run the proper carrier customization for your ROM? Sounds like a carrier/phone branding/ROM branding conflict

Not sure if this is a software or a hardware issue, but sometime over the past day the screen has completely stopped responding to touch inputs on my sprint touch pro running the latest mighty rom release and the shipped verizon (1.03.03V R) radio. Issue was not resolved by a hard reset. Not sure where to go from here, or what language to use when searching the forums for a previous discussion. The keyboard and bottom buttons were working before I hard resetted it, as were the side volume buttons.

Now I'm stuck on the "align screen" screen during the setup. Any ideas?

Did you hard reset to Mighty rom or the stock sprint rom? If you just hard reset Mighty rom, you might try flashing back to the stock Sprint rom and see if that works. If everything works after that, then flash back to Mighty rom.

A friend of mine had to do this for the Energy rom. They refer to it as the "flashdance" since you flash back and forth I guess.
