Also, when you lock your phone and then open the keyboard it unlocks. Should stay locked until you press "unlock", right?

Ok, I did the soft rest, the hard reset, and went and updated my #777 connection by creating a new one.

Still no internet.

I spend 2 hours with Sprint technical support, and they have issued a ticket for me, but I would like to hear some opinions from the members of this board.

I did a search and read through pages 15-17 and really can't find something I have not tried.

Did they update your data profile? That's what they needed to do for me in order for my internet and weather to start working properly.

Hey Guys Copped My TP on 11\1 .Noticed A Lot of Sluggishness ,Having To Restart,The Same Corrective Issue Like Others Have Had (notice the ith TF3D you can't do any reg WINMO Thing, I.E. Device Lock Stuff Like That).Anybody got stuff like that going on?

I searched this thread for "Crash" and "Picture" with no hits.

Whenever I scroll through pictures in TF3D, TF3D crashes on the 14th or 15th picture. The screen goes black and TF3D restarts. It is not related to the picture that is in the 14th spot as I have added new pictures and it crashes in the same spot.

Anyone else having this issue?

If you have pictures on there that were taken with your Mogul, thats the reason. Something with the way the Mogul handled pictures is causing the issue.

Anyone else having issues getting the bluetooth explorer to work? I can go into bluetooth settings and enable bluetooth explorer, yet once I exit the settings and go back in, the "enable bluetooth explorer" option is once again unchecked. Any ideas?

the navigator while using the wmp. right direction doesn't work and the play/pause button does just that: play/pause!

When I slide open keyboard and go into landscape mode during a text message for example, the screen will flip back and forth between portrait and landscape while I have the keyboard open. Shouldn't it always remain in landscape as long as the keyboard is open? Is this an issue with the sensor or is this normal?

You need to take that one back and exchange it. This issue has been reported by some and seems to be a defect.

If there is an option for intermediate driver, that will work as well. Com 4 though should work the same.

this thread is in part a feature request?? ....ok, but I'm late getting to this thread and I'm not reading the 297 posts to figure out what's been requested thus far :), but I've got a couple things I've been dwelling on for several months.

Would love to have ability to link to a dynamically changing picture on the internet directly on home screen.
Lets say a radar image for instance or traffic cam. Ideally multiple links/images. Have them updated and rotate in/out at any given interval.

Also, the over-clocking app that was hinted at a couple weeks before the TP's hit the stores. Would love to see that dropped somewhere around here.

Ah...and the Touch HD.....it was rumored to have ability to record both sides of the conversation without the use of speakerphone...would be nice if that functionality could be ported over.

Also would like an updated radio to help with the battery issue.
And an order of fries and a large alcoholic drink. That's all thank you.

I don't know if this was mentioned, but I don't have the time to read through this bazillion page thread.

While there are clunky UI shenanigans (even while using TouchFlo3D), the biggest one that keeps coming up for me is the camera would stop working. I get an error such as it can't connect to the camera driver or something, and the next time I try to use the camera or camcorder, I just see a black screen.

This also throws TouchFlo3D into a fit and I can't do anything else but to pull the battery and stick it back in.

I found out from another thread if you go to where u saved ur pictures at and open it up click menu then edit it should bring u to a white background and click on menu and than auto correct for every picture that was taken wit ur mogul and that should fix the problem..

Please fix the Voice Command for incomming calls announcements!

I use bluetooth while driving and I really need to know who's calling without pulling the phone out, got the temp fix that was posted somewhere around here but has some glitches.

Wow, haven't read this thread in a while, but I didn't even realize that if you set voice comand it could work for incoming calls also. That's cool.

I just set ringtones for the people that call me the most.

The problem with the call announcement on the TP doesn't appear to be with Voice Command, but possibly with the phone software on the TP - since Voice Command is generating the announcement file - it's just not being played.
The following registry changes might partially restore the call announcement, a short-term solution until something better comes along:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Category: change VoiceCommand1 to Ring
HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\TTSAnnounce\Script: change as5p to v0p (for vibrate and ring) or p (for ring only)
With this change, the ringtone will start - and then be interrupted with the calller ID/name announcement. (Assuming that call announcement has been enabled in Voice Command).
Only major flaw with this solution is that the announcement volume is low.

](*,)I had an HTC Pro from 3 different stores. They consisted of 2 Sprint Stores and 1 Best Buy Store. The problem you guys are experiencing were not present with any of those handsets. However, I had a unique issue with all 3 phones and it was with the camera. I would scroll to the camera and the application would begin. I would call up the camera and take a picture. Cool. However, around the 3rd or 4th time of scrolling to another application and coming back to the camera, I would get just a blank screen for the camera. I would wait to see what happened and about 15 seconds later the camera would attempt to run and nothing but a blank screen. I am coming from a Mogul and I loved it. I actually love this phone as well aside from the poor battery it has but the camera issue has turned me off of this phone until at least a fix takes place. I called up HTC and was put on hold for what seemed like forever and no one else has seemed to have this issue. Any suggestions or thoughts on what this could be?

I have the same problem and it's buggin' the crap outta me. Any solutions?
I know it's a TF3D issue, because when I turn off TF3D, it works correctly. Thanks in advance.

p.s. it actually opens in agenda mode, but it says day on the bottom left because that's the next page.

VZW Touch Pro - touchflo3d crashes when I select the "messages" tab.

I've had my tp for about a week now and I've had this problem from the beginning. Every time I select the "messages" tab, touchflo3d crashes and restarts. It happens every time. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm new to the touch interface, but I assumed this tab should show my text messages?

I also have noticed that I am NOT receiving any text messages that are sent to me. I don't know if this is related or VZW forgot to activate this when I switched phones.

Any information is appreciated.

I had done these reg edits & it worked fine. Then, I did a hard reset & was never able to get it working again.

Then, all of a sudden out of the blue yesterday it pipes up & announces a call by name. I thought, cool it's working again. The problem is, it worked exactly one time & hasn't worked since........

In searching, I've seen a ton of people with TF3D crashing while viewing pictures, but has anyone had TF3D crashing problems when doing a send/receive in email?? Mine does this all the time on my GMail account using IMAP.

ive tried searching for the answer ... found none. had a mogul, made a lot of sprint music store purchases ... now it seems like i have to "re-download" all the songs i had from before inorder for my pro to play'm ... ? is there a way around this? am i even making any sence? Call Customer Service and see if they know how. If they say you can't, tell them you want to be credited with what you paid already.

Using the OEM registry any recommendations on things to check if the "auto add space after word" feature isn't working?

It's the only thing I miss from my touch that this phone doesn't seem to do although there are settings for it.

I read all this thread and I cant find anything too fix the roaming on this phone. I already search and found some cabs that claim to be the solution but when I check the roaming only option on the phone never connect to any signal

what can i do for this?

Not able to get my am\pm indicator on my home screen clock. can someone help with this. I did a few tweaks and they all work, but I actually like the am\pm indicator. Any help would be appreciated.

It maybe specific to the clock you're using. The AM/PM indicator should be shown in the bottom left of the clock
