I just want to make sure that this phone was updated in case that would be the cause of the keyboard problem that I am having. Now that I know a hard reset will not hurt anything I will try that. If that does not help I guess I will be going back to Best Buy to see if they still have another Touch Pro and if it has the same problem.

That is the correct rom, so your good, if you continue to have hardware issues, I would suggest a return, know one expected the phone to be perfect and not to have a few bad apples, thats electronics for you. But I will forward any and all issues you all find to HTC for review and repair.

Hey Crit, Besides the weatherbug,
i find that the volume when making or recieving calls pretty soft; had to have the speaker on. Also had a problem with the device freezing a couple of times but its seems to work fine after i pulled out the battery and put it back in. To DC the internet, i could usually click the icon on the top and DC the internet with my palm, but you have to go to settings>data connection and turn it off from there to DC the internet with the TP.
Other than that, the phone is the best phone that i have ever owned.

there is a audio file that will push the speakers volume. that should help your audio issues...

Hey Critcial,

I just bought my TP yesterday and paid 299 + tax. But i didn't get the 20% but received a reward zone card So i'm going to print out the 20% off ad to get my discount. I did reicieve my 150 off being with sprint over 22months.

But my problem is my TP has defect in the screen and when i open it in landscape using the keyboard, on the bottom it shows white marks on the screen. It does it like 30-40% of the time. It will go away after i touch the screen, but still is annoying with you pay so much for a phone.

Do you think they will give me problems replacing it?

Also i wish the face plate didn't move so much with its in the close position!

Yeah, I got my Sprint Touch Pro yesterday on the 24th for $260 something after 2 year contract renewal and 20% discount in Best Buy after flirting w/ a chick who works in the mobile dept. @ Best Buy in Houston. She reserved me one as soon as she got it in even though she only had 4 in stock. Plus she ran the department by herself, so she was able to get me the best deal on it. Just so you know criticalaudioinc, Best Buy didn't have a sku# in the system for the 20% discount deal. The chick over the mobile dept. had to spend like 2 hours with BB Customer support to have it resolved and still alternatively had to ring up some gift cards to soften the blow on the price. The main issue right now as I see everyone having with the Sprint Touch Pro is the call volume. It blows a nasty load about how bad it sounds. (Pardon my vulgarness) In any case, I just wanted to thank you for all the help you've given us this past week and the inside info that let us know what was really going on about the sudden delay. Thanks a billion.
