I do the same on my touchscreen deck. I have the video out cable sitting on my dresser waiting for October (insert speculated date here).

I hope certain applications will have support for video out by the developers. It'd be nice if google maps had more features when attatched to a TV

I think you can show whatever you want using the Video Out. My understanding is when you plug in the cable it gives you those 4 options for PPT, Video, YouTube, and something else, but you can X out of that and go to anything on the phone.

Is it sad that I'm going to hook this to my tv in the bedroom and have the transmitter hooked to the video cable of the Touch Pro so all I have to do is plug in the Touch Pro and I'll have it showing on my TV wirelessly across the room?

I bought this thing many years ago for like $30 and never had a need to use it.

not sad at all, in fact, its ingenious lol. i didnt even think about that lol.
