i've emailed ecare a few times, and they told me they'll give a total of $150 off with no mir. this would be stupid for me in the long run, because i would have to renew my contract for two more years. i rather spend the extra $150, and have the option of upgrading to the latest, and greatest in the future, and receive at least $300 in rebates when the time comes.

I sent my letter. Sprint responded with a 75$ credit offer on full price and thats all or else get a replacement Mogul. FYI, I just started with them 4 months back.

If you've used a year that is exactly half your contract and if you do $150 discounts twice as often which is the same thing as $300 off one time ;)

Take the $150 then take another $150 and you'll be exactly the same as if you waited and took $300 once...

Not to mention I believe it is only $175 to break your contract....

That's why you have to make more emphasis on the fact that the problems you're having are inherent in the phone and not your specific unit. Touch on the problems that everyone's having and that you confirmed that these problems are common for this phone. Once you've made it extremely clear that a replacement Mogul can't resolve the issue you'll get more help.

If I'm not mistaken it's pro-rated now, so it's not even a definite $175 depending on how long you've been with them. Here in California the courts just ruled the early termination fees are unlawful entirely. We'll have to wait and see what changes that causes.

After being told to take my phone in for repairs I pushed a little bit more and got this response:

Thank you for contacting Sprint Customer Service. I am happy to assist
you regarding the handset upgrade.

I understand that the HTC Mogul handset active on the line ********** is
not working properly. The account is not eligible for any rebate against
the purchase of any handset. Considering the exception, I can offer the
rebate of $100.00 from my side.

You can purchase new handset from one of our following sales channels:
1) Sprint Store: You can visit nearest Sprint Store for the equipment.
The advantage is that you can view the actual equipment. Plus you can
activate the same at the store.

The nearest Sprint Store is just 2.7 miles away from you and the address
is as mentioned below:

What do you guys think? should I press it anymore? I'm still not payin $479 for this I got mortgage and a Jetta to pay for, we in a recession damnit!!!
