Why Verizon Crippled the Touch Pro
Sorry in advance if this has already been discussed.
So we've all probably seen the Sprint VS Verizon comparison chart by now, but I think I know why Verizon wants to cripple the Touch Pro (other than the fact that they are inherently evil.) Every time Sprint released an update for the Mogul, we here would rip it on to a rom for the XV6800. This emasculates Verizon and makes them unnecessary. This time around I think they intend to re-use Touch technology or use different hardware from the Sprint version so that we can't/it makes it harder for us Sprint people to help help out our brothers under Verizon opression. Viva la` Resistance!!!! BTW, yes I know I'm weird
