Yeah. The delay isn't a problem for me at all, especially if it's to troubleshoot any "hiccups."

Re: Touch Pro Release date pushed back Farther
Very true. Although, I must say, Sprint has been pretty good about getting back to me since Dan Hesse took over. Very odd that it improved that dramatically, but all of my major issues I had were prior to January 2008. Maybe it's just coincidence, but they're slowly but surely improving.

Re: Touch Pro Release date pushed back Farther
My local Sprint store rep. that has always been a straight shooter told me the Oct. 19th for telesales AND his store... That would be cool.
And there is no way Best Buy will have this phone before Sprint stores. Also, the EVP caters to the companies normal phone purchasing. They may not be equipped to be the first out the door with new phones. Just because your company does business with Sprint does not equal bleeding edge phone sells. Most companies, who make large cell purchases would rather wait a bit before buying brand new phones. My company wait about 3-4 months until all the bugs are worked out so our IT dept. does not waste time working on the phones. If an individual at my company rushes out and gets a phone on day one, that is on them, not the company. So if your unhappy with the EVP release date, don't act like your EVP company is mad. They probably don't care in the least bit. Cancel your EVP order and call telesales.... |

Re: Touch Pro Release date pushed back Farther
Oh, no doubt I understand. Up until this year, in 2007, they went from double charging my account for 6 months straight to also losing the only cell phone number I had for the first 7 years on Sprint (which also made me have to contact every single business contact to let them know about my changed phone number). Yeah, I had my share of problems with Sprint before and would've left had it not been for the stupid early termination fee that I refused to pay.
