HTC Touch Pro Release Date! - Page 95

Hey all, I'm pretty new to this forum. I've been waiting a long time for the Touch Pro and planned on getting it at a particular Best Buy. Are we pretty certain (as much as can be expected of course) on the Oct 26 date? This is cutting pretty close to the end of the promotion for $130 Instinct that my wife wants.

that's the same email from the same chick that set me up with my touch pro. I'm starting to believe that that 11/2 is an official date.

Hasn't it already been said that EVP is NOT Sprint but rather a wholesale wireless company?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but nobody from Sprint Telesales or management has said anything other then the 10/19 date. (not including in-store reps..but we know the majority of them are morons)

No, they're not a wholesale wireless company. They're a service that works in conjunction with Sprint. All of their orders are processed through the Sprint system.

e-care/telesales/cs reps are all last to be informed much like in-store reps.

The very first line says they are an agent. So, yes, they are a service that works in conjunction with sprint who gets paid a commission.

As someone who works as an agent for some very large organizations, I can speak with experience when I say agents/brokers are typically the last in line to get information.

I'm sticking with the 10/19 date. The brokers will get it on the 2nd.

I'm still saying 10/19 because thats the only thing that is official. I'd take what ecare has told me straight out, as well as account services and the official press release over rumors from EVP.

Okay...that's your choice. The dates from EVP aren't rumors. People who placed orders have already been informed that the release has been pushed back to 11/2.

if you believe that 10/19 is the date, that's your perogative. Just don't be disappointed if that doesn't happen.
