I think he means a timed exclusive on the particular product in this case being to touch pro from sprint. Sometimes if you pay enough money, not saying that what best buy did, you can sell something that no one else has for a limited time.

If this is truely the case, the Sunday release dates( the 19th, 26th, and 2nd) all make sense from a marketing perspective for Best Buy. Their weekly ad's with new gadgets is always on the Sundays.

i doubt it but incase the phone is released oct 19th .. i wonder which is the best way to order . online after midnight saturday or call telesales sunday morning and deal with a live person

I think I'd rather deal with a live person. Not sure if the website will be updated immediately at midnight or will it be updated starting that Monday (the 20th or 27th or 3rd or whatever day this sucky phone is supposed tou come out. I WANT IT!!!)

if best buy gets it first, i'm definately buying it there! the no-MIR is nice too. but my only question is, can i port my verizon number to sprint via the best buy signup?

Checked Sprint's Playbook last night again, it still states release date of Oct 30th (usually soft launch), but nothing about release in stores yet (TBD).

Lucky for me I got a training on Tuesday, hosted by HTC. Training, food and prizes (wonder what the prizes are going to be). I'll try to "leak" any new info or pics if I get any on Tuesday.
