Re: [BUILD] **Complete GingerBread Bundle!!** GBX0A - Alpha! Camera!
I tried it on 06 and it didn't work. It justs scans and leads to an error. I'm going to just wait a few months and build and kernel updates before I seek xdandroid on my raph800.

Ok, if you do want some help get me some logs from testing with 06.

Re: [BUILD] **Complete GingerBread Bundle!!** GBX0A - Alpha! Camera!
I have a RAPH 500. When I boot it, it skips the calibration screen and goes straight to the XDAndroid logo and then turns off. It doesn't turn on unless I do a hard reset. I've been looking for an answer to this in the other threads. It could be the kernel? I'm sorry, I am not experienced in this, but I'm doing my best to learn.

If not, you need to follow the directions to manually calibrate. Please re-read the first post. |

Re: [BUILD] **Complete GingerBread Bundle!!** GBX0A - Alpha! Camera!
I grabbed the calibration file when I first booted it and I have the latest kernel: 20110522_213148. I was also considering changing the rootfs.
It still skips the screen but now goes straight to the android home menu for a few seconds and turns off. |

Did you try the Froyo bundle? How about the kernel that's included, 1276? I know that the RAPH500 isn't supported very well, because it's so crippled (has less RAM than every other RAPH..)

Re: [BUILD] **Complete GingerBread Bundle!!** GBX0A - Alpha! Camera!
I used the 1276 and it was even worse. With the 1321, I at least got the home screen to come up after toying with it. I knew RAPH500 was going to be a challenge when I bought it for cheap, heh.
Just tried Froyo, booted and still skipped the calibration screen and went straight to the xdandroid animation and hasn't changed. EDIT: went back to the 1321, same problem of skipping the calibration screen, but it's not glitching out as much when the home screen shows. Besides the calibration, it is working. As I stated in the first post, go back to an older kernel if you wish to calibrate manually... |

Re: [BUILD] **Complete GingerBread Bundle!!** GBX0A - Alpha! Camera!
Sorry if I'm getting a little off-track. I'm trying to give as much info as I can.
As stated in the first post, during the initial boot process, I should see the calibration screen and follow the calibration instructions. I watched the process, but I never saw the screen in the initial boot. I continued not to see a calibration screen at any time that I have booted android. I used 2 ts-calibration files so far, downloaded and unzipped the one in the first post of this thread and the one in the first post of the froyo bundle. I do not know how to generate/create a ts-calibration file from the kernels I found. |
