Is there an older stock rom that will bring it down to 0.37?

I had this issue once, try flashing the stock rom on from HTC's website. After that use the sspl to get you into the bootloader then run HSPL from your computer.

this usually always works for me.

jivago, if it is a true branded at&t touch pro it is gsm device. if you got it as is, previous owner had it unlocked and flashed sprint cdma rom which is the only place the .40 locker comes from. it wont boot because it has a cdma rom on it. the gsm bootloader/locker is 1.90.0000 and the unlocker is 1.90.olinex http://www.forum.xda-developers.com/...d.php?t=410150 also check http://www.forum.xda-developers.com/...d.php?t=448008 and you may need to ask in the forum section there under gsm touch pro fuze section for stock rom since htc site doesn't have it posted or go to at&t store and have them flash stock rom for you.

OP said it was an Alltel TP, correct?

I recently had problems getting my friend's Alltel TP unlocked. HAD to do it from the SD card.

My explanation is complete. The Information is all there. Someone help!!!

I've been doing this for over a week in different forums. NOBODY remotely gets it! Is it that HARD?

Unlock it using the SD card read through this thread on unlocking and relocking. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61333 hint flash a shipped alltel ROM with GPS. Not the one from the HTC site it's only an upgrade. You will need the shipped ROM.

Just to clear a few misconceptions up...

No stock ROM can overwrite a custom SPL becuase cmonex builds write protection in.

If you are unlocked and flash a stock ROM, 10 out 10 you stay unlocked...

Thank you whitey10tc, but it looks like you run this from WM on the phone. You start the phone and run this within WM.

So....

If the phone doesn't boot, how would this help me?

Now that I'm dismisconceived, how might I unlock my boot-looping, Alltell CDMA Touch Pro with the 0.40 SPL?

As previously stated, the only successful (ie goes from 0 to 99% then restarts) flashing that I can do is the correct rom. Yes, the correct, latest standard rom. Yes it the right standard rom. No it's not another rom it's the proper, standard rom. No it's not the GSM/Sprint/Bell/Verizon rom it's the correct Alltel rom.

I've tried the 0.37 unlocker and I got a communication error. Yes I tried a bunch of other unlockers just to see what happens. Nothing did. Did I mention that I was able to flash it with the correct Alltel rom?

No I didn't try to unlock it with a card, as it seems that one needs to boot the phone to do that. Can someone confirm or deny that? (No one will of course, but I can dream.)

So a quick recap:
-I got it this way
-Alltell Touch Pro (not Verizon, Sprint etc)
-CDMA (Not GSM, IDEN, or CupNstrinG)
-Boot loops: "Touch Pro"-buzz-reboot, "Touch Pro"-buzz-reboot, etc
-Has SPL 0.40 will not unlock using Rapheal 0.37 (nor any other)
-DID flash with CORRECT Alltel rom. Didn't use Versizon, didn't use GSM, Sprint, etc. (the m*r*n I got it from could have)
-CAN'T do anything but go into color stripped SPL screen (and boot loop)
-DID do all kids of resets and reboots and button holding/pushing resets. Really ALL of them.

QUESTION: HOW CAN I UNLOCK A SPL 0.40? THE 0.37 DOESN'T WORK. I WANT TO UNLOCK IT SO I CAN TRY ANOTHER ROM BEFORE I THROW IT AWAY.

(Sorry, it's been many days, forums and posts with zero real answers)

I wasn't able to use HardSPL on Windows 7, but when using a Windows XP machine, it worked perfectly.
