Re: how can I replace a ROM file?

Why do you want/need to change the ROM Version? It's there to ID what ROM you are using. If you are using WM 6.5 then the ROM version is located in a few different areas. But the only reason I can think of someone changing that is to get around what the chef put there or to take credit for the work. and yes there are registry entries that will make the changes. But why?
