But why?
I want to replace a DLL file in the windows folder that is cooked into the ROM. Worked fine in 6.1. For some reason it doesn't seem to work in 6.5. Resco will allow me to do it, but after I reboot, the original file is there. Yes, it is possible to replace rom files, it doesn't actually overwrite them, but somehow tells the system to use the other one and ignore the rom one. Like I said, did this all the time on 6.1. Am trying to get call recording working. Or perhaps I just need to find another way, like tweak the audiopara.csv file? I can hear the other person, but they are VERY VERY LOW, and it's not recording through the mic the other person, because it picks them up even when I'm using the headphones.

Sadly there seems to be no one who really knows what is going on low level in the phone and drivers with call recording and finding good info is hard because there is so much conjecture on this as it is.
