The latest release is working great! Data is flowing, phone seems stable, however, power collapse does not seem to be working. The LED's are not breathing, and the phone is getting hot... Ideas?

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - ALPHA (buggy. as. hell.)
I had to reboot maybe 3 times before data worked -- but it seems to work consistently now. I don't know if it was a reboot or a time issue. The APNs xml file changed on the new system.sqsh, which killed data the last time -- if it doesn't come up for you no matter what you do, try going back to the Feb 2nd version.
And power collapse is working, despite the lights not breathing. They changed the interface for the LEDs, so now the lights only breathe if you have the LEDEffects APK (from the AndroidApps folder in the xdandroid package) installed. I was downloading like crazy over CDMA last night, no crashes (well, eventually the data channel went down and I couldn't get it back up -- but the phone still worked). That plus the speed increase makes it feel like a very usable system. Now if we could just get hardware video acceleration and 3x the battery life, I'd make the switch for real. |

Amazing work! Thanks for all the hard work.
Total noob question - Is the end goal to be able to install this over WinMo and have it boot directly to Android instead of WM? Just wondering. |

For many people it is. I like the idea of dual booting more, personally. Best of both worlds and all that jazz.
