Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Yeah. If I could consistently run Android, I'd just turn off SMS forwarding, and get them through google voice exclusively. But I can't do that yet.
I want a native Android phone. The Evo is so pretty. |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Using the AIO from may 11.
Couple questions: 1) Is it just me or does your phone start getting hot on the back where the camera/flash is after using android for about 5 mins? 2) Windows reports I have 50% battery, I boot android, and it's constantly telling me to plug in because I have 5-10% battery remaining. Anyone else getting this incorrect battery readout? Great work by the way guys :) |

2) I too have had questions about the accuracy of the battery. It does seem that android wants to not only use up the battery (thus hot back-cover), but it also believes the battery has very little capacity. I am not sure what to make of it yet, but am ultimately happy that it works as well as it does. I just keep mine plugged in for now. It isn't my main phone anyway... |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
the only heat increase i notice is if i charge it through the wall charger at night it scares me how hot it gets while running android.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
I am new to running android on my TP but I too am having the battery meter issue but also I can not get data nor make or receive phone calls. I am running the latest all-in-one package and looked at the FAQ in this post but nothing. Wifi works but no radio. Sorry I searched and didn't find anything related to my problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Found a better method for the constant nexus boot loop. If your device never boots and is just in a constant loop on the Nexus boot screen just delete data.img. IF your upgrading this will delete all customization done. It would be like a fresh install. Backup if need be! Hit thanks if i helped!
