I'd start in #htc-linux. You'll need to pull this stuff apart and rebuild yourself, you're essentially just setting yourself up for a ton of work for very little reward.

If you have insurance, get a new phone! If not, sorry... you may just be SOL. I know it's possible, but again you'd be running something that's completely custom, and you would need to maintain it with any updates. Not very easy.

Yeah, there are keyboard definition files in the rootfs (/init.etc/keymaps), but I never figured out how to compile them, and I'm not sure you can remap home and back using that, anyway.

You could also look at arch/arm/mach-msm/board-htcraphael-navi.c and see if you can compile it with them remapped somewhere, but that's an even bigger job, unless you're already set up to compile the kernel.

Well, Finally up and running on the latest build after using the latest ASOP, plus CDMA Startup, Plus latest initrd.gz, rootfs.img, and kernel/modules.

Did I read correctly that GPS is working? GPS was turned on, but GPS Test could see nothing.

I'm not sure it's necessarily working on our RAPH800 hardware (yet?)

Gps was working on my phone with Google maps installed. I didn't go anywhere to test but it found me. Funny thing though is that on my Winmo Google maps it finds my location up to 20 feet where on the Android version it is 70 feet.

If you're running a RAPH800, IT'S NOT GPS!!!! (Not yet, at least...)

The first post goes over this (well, maybe it's the 2nd or 3rd... but still!) it's cell tower triangulation. GPS is working for certain devices, but evidently our phones don't dump the NMEA data that the devs are using to feed to Android. The devices that provide this raw NMEA data are working, RAPH110, RHOD400, etc. Hopefully they'll sort out a way to parse the data that they are receiving from our devices, and get GPS working for our devices as well :D

Thanks for this information. I've been trying to get gps to work on my alltel htc touch pro by finding my location in google maps wm6.1 than booting haret. This causes a weird problem. I will either get a reboot back to wm6.1 or a looping nexus one boot loader screen. I do not get these errors when I do a clean windows boot to haret. I have open other apps in wm6.1 and than booted with success. It only does this when I find my locations using google maps and than boot haret. Any ideas?

Update: First successful boot into android at 10:40 central time 5-18-10. Battery indicator is at full when battery is nearly 20%, locked up after unlocking. Very slow response.

Im having a rather strange issue with my raph800, it seems as though I'm missing the ability to sync with my google calendar and possibly missing the calendar app as well. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Not I.

a) were you ever able to sync your calendar? I know you have to enable the calendar within Gmail or it won't work. b) possibly missing? Do you not have a "Calendar" selection when you look at the list of apps?

I never had the option to select the calendar before syncing and there's no calendar app aside from the corp calendar one that i had added later for my exchange account.

Edit:

After looking in the applications manager, i see that the calendar app is there but it's still called com.android.calendar as if it's not compatible or something
