I couldn't find the data.img file on my SD card :S. I also have a 8GB SD Card, that only has the "andboot" folder on it, so there should be plenty of space.

Well then. Try reformatting the card (or try a different card, if you've got it)? I never get any output like yours from the e2fsck program.

Sorta sounds like it's unable to write to the card. I don't know how that would be possible, though. Even if it was failing creating the data store (it'd be in /sdcard/andboot/data.img, for the record) it would make a file there, but it would just be smaller than it should be.

Ok, I'll test with another card when I get home. :)

Thanks for the help :headbang:

what do you have running in the background? i know that i can easily drain my battery faster than it can charge by forgetting to use the clean ram application

Are you sure its not charging? or charging slowly? Android doesn't show the 'breathing' like WinMo by default.

It really sounds like you have a RAPH500. I don't know of any way to make a RAPH800 hang right there. You're running off the all-in-one package from the first post, with no change to the startup.txt? I'm baffled.

its a raph800 it used to work but ever since i changed the whole keyboard+screen assembly it freezes after it vibrates twice and i do have a raph800 startup txt on the root

i think im using an old kernel, but my phone does not show the breathing when it charges, it only does that when it is in the power collapse mode, but like i said im pretty sure i have an old kernel still

Oh. Maybe the screen came from a RAPH500. It might be the screen that causes the RAPH500 problems -- trouble initializing the framebuffer.
