Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Sending MMS via Sprint fails on the server -- there's some thought that it's an account setting saying our WinMo phones can't send MMS, so they just reject them. I have paid little attention, since I never use MMS (it's always been so terrible on Sprint I just never bothered).
Receiving, I have no idea. |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Hmm, interesting. I have always been able to send MMS in windows mobile. Maybe something shows up in the ADB when you get an MMS.. maybe i'll do some tests.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
I was wondering about mms as well. I don't use it often but once in a while it's handy. it's way below gps in my list of priorities though.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
When you send MMS in WinMo, is it through the picturemail app? because I believe that does it in a nonstandard way. I'm not 100% on that, though, because, like I said, I never use it.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
When I go to the network settings page the APN one the whole page is blank and I cannot get data to work, I was able to make a call as well but the other party could not hear me I guess that is because I have to make a call when I load android I read.
In grey it says APNs but below it is all blank |
Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
Hit Menu (button with a house) and create a new APN. Instructions are in the FAQ (page 1).

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800)
New build seems sweet. Runs very fast and seems really responsive. Still can't to get wifi to work, I'll make sure I'll check that I have the most recent kernel/modules.
Edit: There is a update to google maps. FYI |
