Re: TP2 $199 on SERO

I tried this yesterday and I got an email asking to confirm the account holder this morning. I hope this actually works and goes through.

Re: TP2 $199 on SERO

Hello all. My TP2 is still within the 30 days, so i decided to call Sprint and see if they would credit the difference. My Father in law actually works for citigroup and luckily has a sprint account so I can return my TP2 and get the deal anyways, but I thought I would see if Sprint would save me the trouble of returning and then reordering. Well after 2 hours of phone tag. They will not do it. I called a friend who used to work for retentions but unfortunately recently left. But he did tell me that Sprint is aware of these posting about corporate discounted phone and people calling in and that they are putting a stop to it and that retentions is not going to put up with the requests, which was apparent with the way the guy on the phone with Sprint was talking. I was extremely nice, and he was very abrupt and rude, but I took it in stride because an attitude wasn't going to get me anywhere. I'm not saying not to try, but good luck!! If anyone has a specific department that might do it let me know for future info. I tried, regular support, sales, order support, tech level 2, and retentions. And ironically every department wanting to do it but they couldn't and passed me over. Retentions was the last place, not that I want to cancel and not that i said i did either, but just as a last ditch effort. So good luck!!

Re: TP2 $199 on SERO

Is this deal still working? I went to website and checked price of phone. Went to Sprint's main site, logged into my account, and tried to upgrade my phone which is elgible for the $150 discount. I got a pop up message that reads:

Your account is currently not eligible for purchases from this website.

Please add an account to your profile to continue.

Am I doing something wrong or is this not working anymore?

Re: TP2 $199 on SERO

I just ordered a Touch Pro 2 off Verizons website to day and was pleasantly surprised that it was only 150. I wasn't aware that the price had dropped from the original 199,

Re: TP2 $199 on SERO

Not a bad deal Yearn, if only Sprint could stop losing customers every quarter and start gaining some maybe we could see more consistently lower prices for these phones like other carriers have sometimes, and maybe get newer phones quicker.

@Rockchalk = your account needs to be a business or corporate type of account similar to the company that the link is for. It can not just be a normal personal account.

Wink Re: TP2 $199 on SERO

Thanks for your request for the Touch Pro 2.

Sprint has advised that your are currently on an Everything Plus Referral plan. Unfortunately, you are not able to receive the phone at this price w/out being on the Accenture discount plan. If you would like to change to the Accenture discount off your monthly recurring charges, you will need to contact Sprint to change your plan to a regular priced plan.

Once the plan has been changed, you will then need to contact the Sprint Discount Dept at 866-853-4931 to have the discount applied.

ohh well, it was worth a shot..!

Re: TP2 $199 on SERO

I ended up being paid $100 to get a TP2. Bought it for $149 with a $100 rebate making it $49 AR. However, they only charged me $99, so it should have been free after rebate.

When filling out the rebate form, I put both of my Sprint phone numbers down as I wasn't sure which number I would have the phone on when the rebate finally processed. As luck would have it, I ended up getting the TP1 on my other line exchanged for a TP2 in store for free. Sprint approved my rebate, but did it for each phone ($200 total). I guess they thought I bought 2 brand new ones, so I made $100 and my rebate check just came in today.

I am getting a corporate discount through my work. However, I do not have a SERO account.
