16 GB Micro SD review thread.

I would like to get one, but I would like to hear what some users here have to say about yours. Please list brand, and class, along with actual space available.
EX. I currently have a transcend class 2 "8" GB card that actually has 7.3 gb available. It is a very good card, but it can be slower at times. I would recommend it, as I have had it almost a year without a problem. I used it with my titan until I upgraded.

if you have the money go for a class 6. although i am not sure if our devices can take full advantage of class 6 is good to have one just in case.

8GB Class 6 is only $14.99 on Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-453-_-Product).

16GB Class 6 is $51.99 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...sd%20class%206).

Free shipping.

Re: 16 GB Micro SD review thread.

Like another poster said, if you have the money definitely go class 6, the faster the better (most noticeably when you're using your storage card as a drive when connecting to Windows).

But I am also unsure if it makes a difference for the actual use.

But the price difference between 8gb and 16gb is more than 100%, meaning you're paying significantly more per gb.

That 16 and the SD branded 16 were the two I was currently looking at. I didn't know if like somebody else here said, if our phones could take advantage of the full speed of the class 6 cards.

Yeah, I know it's a lot more than 100% the price difference, but I think it is worth it to only have to carry one card. 50-55 is my limit for something like that though. I wish the 32 gig cards were out, and wouldn't be so expensive. But that is the name of the game. And I'm sure after it comes out it won't take but a year to 1 1/2 years to come down to a reasonable price.

Re: 16 GB Micro SD review thread.

I wouldn't recommend Sandisk cards, they are junk.

I am on my 3rd 16 gig sandisk, the first 2 burned up & where replaced under warranty.
