Which App or Drv to install when TP2 is shipped unlocked??

I have a new business TP2, I called Sprint and they informed me that my unit was international - SIM unlocked.
I will be using a Sprint SIM card almost all of the time.

When given two options-
which version of software should be installed on this TP2 - CDMA or GSM?

side note - I tried my older cingular/at&t card from razr [GSM?]and I was able to make calls.

Also, will Hard-SPL disable my TP2's unlocked state? [me thinks not.]
