The Hard-SPL should not affect your TP2's "unlocked state" which is related to the phone's "radio". So don't mess around with any "radio unlocks".
And like santod said, you MUST use the CDMA roms on your SPRINT phone. If you try to use a GSM rom it could BRICK (aka kill, make dead) your phone. I have a Sprint TP2 and have flashed several CDMA roms with no ill effects.
