HDWalls walkthrough for TP2 please? - Page 7

Alright man, i been playin with this for days now. I had it all workin on 2.1, but im havin issues on 2.5. The problem yesterday, was i was tryin the newer builds of manilla, and they didnt work with hdwalls. however im on the 12-17 nrg standard edition. im confused on a few things. First and foremost, when i select my wallpaper, and select profile, im selecting "HTC Sense v2.5 & WM 6.5 - All Tabs - No Compression". seems simple enough. but why when i go to convert hd wallpaper, am i only getting a 104 kb file? When i install it, all i get is the taskbar and softkeys skinned. Now it cuts a wallpaper, which i can go in and set as my manilla wallpaper, but the quality is all crappy. Im using one made from someone else, (it looks absolutely phenominal with your tweaks by the way), and that cab is 904 kb large. ive tried many different times with many different wallpapers, everytime im gettin the same thing, 100 somethin kb large cab. Wheres my mistake?

I gave up on HDwall/s.

It was way to complicated for me. :\

Oh, Myself, i think its the only way to go for wallpapers. I was a big fan of panoramic, till I seen this. Im just havin a hard time makin my own. Ive figured the whole process of usin the app. I could just use others, but id like to make my own.

On another note, anyway to make the calender text dissapear all together? Or a little sexier icons. everyones ive tried including the rabbit ones dont work for me. I dont know if it was rom related or what.

anyone have any advice or guidance for me in the question above? Im still gettin only taskbars everytime i try a wallpaper on my own. im including converted wallpaper and all. i dont get it. i had it workiing for 2.1. what am i missing?

what 2.5 are you using? if its the new 1922 with landscape it doesnt work with that yet.

yeah, it took me a couple hours to figure that out on war. Im using nrg's 1920 dec 17th standard edition. I have the above wallpaper workin. but it was in a thread for wallpapers. When i try my own, i get nowhere near a 904kb file like the one im using now. When i try it i get taskbars and softkeys only. no picture. now i can manually go in set the wallpaper it cut out for the picture in hdwalls, but its nowhere near the quality. help. im using HTC Sense v2.5 & WM 6.5 - All Tabs - No Compression.

Make sure you are setting it to output all images to the same working directory. Also be sure you are checking to include Portrait wallpaper in the cab. Are you converting, then cabbing up? I'm not exactly sure what you are missing, but it should be working fine on that rom. You need to select a weather wallpaper, I believe, after installing also. Hope this helps, if not, let me lnow. I will check back in a while.

Well maybe thats where im messing up. I was under the assumption it automatically set the wallpaper for you. When im using the eyedrop cab made by someone else the file is 904kb and is changin the wallpaper by itself. But your saying go into weatherwallpaper and set it to what. The my wallpaper jpg, or the actual wallpaper itself? When i do that the quality is not even close to the eyedrop cab i have. And the cab im making is only 46 kb's.
Am i supposed to be playing with the runtime options or Messwing with the hometab layout option. Im rackin my brain to figure out what im doin to make it not include the wallaper.

Im On MM 12/30 rom..Is it possible to have HD Walls working with TF Detacher..I like toggling back and forth from TF3D to Titanium and everytime I go back to Titanium my top and bottom taskbars are not correct , they seem to be overlapping with TF3D taskbar..

I use the same program. The taskbars and softkey bars are gonna be skinned on all screens. I set my today wallpaper to be the same thing as in touchflo. that way your start menu and titanium screen all match up.
