[UPDATED] Sprint TV 100% working

Ok, listen closely, or read. whatever.... anyways

You WILL have to hard reset, if you have installed nay of my provisioning cabs before, its also recommended even on any other ROM as users report odd errors otherwise. I've made my Provisioning cab write protected so users cant screw with whats working.

To install any of this software in this pack you must first install MRX_Sprint.cab to provision your device to be authenticated by the sprint servers.

This was tested 100% on my ROM as working, any others I'm not so sure.
If you are going to bug report, I will only consider bugs that are apparent from a hard reset and fresh start. I dont want no monkey business with other chefs provisioning cabs and other junk that would probably cause issues here.

1) Hard reset and skip the Provisioning on the ROM your currently on, I recommended using mine until we get the bugs out for every one.

2) install MRX_Sprint.cab

3) install any other software u choose to in this pack.

4) remember to reboot after each install to be sure.

5) report bugs.... sprint music store has been giving me the finger all night i hope it works.

Even though i don't use my sprint tv all that much i would love to get it working on Mighty Rom! I like to have full functionality of what i had prior to the custom rom. :D Thanks for working on this.

This is what I've been waiting for...I've been going back to stock rom cause of Sprint TV. Currently using SSK rom with Sprint TV but Touchpal doesn't work correctly on it. Cant wait...woot!

SprintTV Works on Juggalo_X, MightyRom and NRG, haven't tested Juicy yet, but surely it will, that is my ROM of choice, just was testing via some others first heh. PRL and Profile work. No go on Music unfortunately, but the fact that TV Works is awesome, my kids love you!

at any rate i wouldnt be surprised if this does not work on some roms as they may not have the Sprint streaming media and show in there.

also i want to add for sprinters MRX_Srpint is a provisioning cab. what ever rom you try IGNORE there provisioning cab. or it wont work.

Question...do I just install the Arcsoft on top of whatever messaging that comes with the ROM we have?? or just the first cab mentioned in post one and all will be good?

Ya I was one of the IRC testers, Hoochster! SprintTV worked fine on Mighty, just the PRL update didn't.

I didn't do a hard reset and the sprint tv is working great. I did allow it to reset after the sprint_mrx.cab though, but all my contact and stuff were still there with all my favorites and stuff still on there.

ok, no I haven't installed any of your provisioning cabs, I'm pretty new to the htc tp2 scene, so basically running stock nrg rom. Works great! I can't thank you enough!

most definetly, also may help some people, if you have advanced config 3.3, go to network and TCP window size, bumping the size up to 98304, has really helped. I haven't had any pauses from watching the bears vs 49ers game that was just on.

sweet works!! and I didnt even do them in order I messed up but still works now to get a sprint TV tab in sense hmmm

Getting error "Cant get the deviceID from HTC_get_DeviceId()" when booting the phone. I can bypass it and go to programs to launch SprintTV and it works!! I'll hard reset again and install over. I mightve missed something.

what rom are you on, the sprint stuff is not getting your device id for the PRL updater that will runn automatically the first time.

If I used the sprint provisioning from JMZ (integrated into energyrom) will I have to hard reset before using the sprint provisioning cab to get sprint tv working?

no idea try, i know some times it wont write what it needs to correctly and u will have to HR

I'm on a custom ROM built in Calkulin's VK. build 21876 wm 6.5

MMS receive works, MMS sends works only thru album (built into the ROM), Sprint TV works as well as sprint tv ever worked...did not install Sprint Music

Thnks Jugga, was never a deal breaker...but this definitely makes life much better!!

I think that was my fault. I flashed to Mighty rom but didnt do the provisioning before installing the files. User excitability error. My bad.

Interesting. Then I'm not sure what caused the error. No issue now after doing mighty mike provisioning. SprintTV still working. I was hoping to catch the rest of the game but dang it I was 1 minute late lol. Sprint Music still not working yet though. I just get a black screen on Opera.

I assumed it was automatic once I ran Mightys provisioning. I'm trying to run the Profile Update now but it doesn't seem to be progressing. Says "The network is preparing your device..please wait..."
