The error showed up after I installed the PRL updater. Maybe Ill just skip that for now. The updater doesnt work for me anyway. I'll just have to update manually.

Same issue I am having, I had SprintTv working with no problem. Installed the PRL and Profile updater, reset, and it comes with the htc device id error. When you try to use them, they just hang.

Whew..thanks. I thought it was just me. I'm starting over and wont be installing the PRL Profile Updater. I don't really need it.

On Juicy R2; I did not need to perform a hard reset or run the MRX_Sprint.cab.

I just installed the Sprint TV cab (Sprint TV_1_7_189014_0.cab) provided by Juggalo_X and its working perfectly.

Hope this helps those on Juicy R2...

I tried the PRL and profile, doesn't do anything. I'm on MM. Also can't seem to receive vids or pics from myself now... I can receive a small one from VZW but not from myself on Sprint. All I did was run the files you note, no provisioning from MM or anything of that sort and still had vid/pic issues and no prl or profile update.

something is not being overwritten correctly on his rom then

this is why its not working for you guys.

ill have to work with him to track ti down. Hence why i stated this has been tested to work 100% on my rom only.

correct, ill devote another 8 hours to the VZW users eventually, im burnt out right now give me a few days lol

once i added the provisioning cab, my phone wil not let me enter the lock code..it keeps telln me incorrect password...please help..can u help juggalo

I didn't try Sprint TV yet but MMS does not seem to be working. I'm using Energy ROM and I keep getting a message that Delivery failed or Receipt failed. I did the hard reset before installing the mrx_sprint provisioning cab then I reset and tried the MMS cab.

Edit: Sprint TV is working great. Just watched an episode of Phineas and Ferb

Yeah I did a soft reset before I tried to use it. All I got were the errors and at 1 point it actually locked up and I had to remove the battery to get out of the messaging screen.

Have you tried without installing the MRX Sprint file. Just install the MMS and reboot. If Sprint TV works on Energy without the MRX file then maybe you don't need it for MMS either.

What's the difference between your Sprint cab and Mike's?

BTW - I integrated MMS into one cab with all necessary edits to make it to work after a fresh install. Do you want me to integrate it into yours?

Wow, i had very bad luck with this... After installing the sprint provision cab the phone rebooted, then it gave the "Cant get the deviceID from HTC_get_DeviceId()" error. That wasn't the worst of it though, it broke the start menu within Mighty Rom and made tf3d extremely slow. I tried to access the phone dialer and that took 5 seconds to load and even longer to close. I ended up just hard resetting the phone since i couldn't do much with it anymore. I will try this again after the hard reset.

UPDATE:
After the hard reset it did not completely botch up my phone so it must have been an incompatibility with another piece of software on the phone. Only thing to note is what other people are having issues with already and that is that the Update PRL is not working and the Update Profile option seems to just sit there forever.

Nope doesn't work with or without the provisioning cab. What is the provisioning cab supposed to actually do? It seems like most people don't even need it for full functionality.

Dang it I thought it was all good. Didnt get the device error on boot but then I tried running Sprint Music and Opera was open for about 30 seconds then the devide ID error popped up. Going to reboot again....

EDIT: Ok after soft reset the Device ID error now pops up again before manila starts. But it closes on its own and proceeds to load manila.

what rom?

dev id error shouldnt be an issue unless its not overwriting CDMADEFAULT.txt and AAAInfo.txt in rom

I kinda assumed the same so I posted the same question on Mike's thread yesterday night but I think maybe it got over looked cause I haven't seen a reply yet. That thread gets really busy...it probably got burried.

No biggy but I definitely appreciate all your help on it. I'm just happy Sprint TV is working =).

I just installed the provisioning cab on the energyrom and now I can't unlock my phone with the correct pin password. Phone would boot up to the lock screen. When I attempt to unlock it and type in my usual pin, it would not accept password. What is going on?
