No, straight from VZW. They cover the first year of warranty.
Of course my original phone has been perfect since I flashed back to stock 6.1. 3G has been stronger than ever. As soon as I send this refurb back I know I'll get stuck in 1X again. Either way, I'd rather wait longer to see if they do in fact make a hardware change that we can tell about. I have until next September to ask for anothe refurb so we'll see. |

Right now I'm just buying a new one every 20-30 days and returning the first one, instead of exchanging. I don't want to end up getting any more refurbs.

So, people should post their manufacturer date and if theyre havings problems and how severe.
Mine is 10/26 and I get stuck in 1X but very rare, if it does go into 1X it usually comes back to 3g in less than a minute. Or a soft reset does the trick. |

Activated a TP2 a few hours ago with a build date of 11-3-2010. After activating it was in 3G. A little while later, after a soft reset, it was stuck in 1x for about a half hour and then went back to 3G. I'm skeptical to say the least.
