Re: Has sprint stopped EVDO data roaming?
Are you sure? Sprint does not want their customer to be roaming if possible. The incentive for people not to forever have their phones roaming is to only give them 1x data. Sprint goes into negative cash flow when their customers roam. If people can roam with EVDO on Verizon, most of them will just lock their phones to stay roaming and it will cost Sprint a fortune especially how these PPC phones are very data intensive.

It was Alltel. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Sprin...el-27557.shtml It is fairly well-established that Sprint does NOT have an EVDO roaming agreement with Verizon. I've never seen anything official from either carrier that says such an agreement exists. |

check this out if you are using roam only. A small program to toggle between roam and automatic. works so far. |
