Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))
Not trying to say you have something to gain just the same as I have nothing to gain about the TP2 since I already have one. Its just for the years ive been working at Verizon I never seen or heard of discontinuing a phone that is Acually Selling! within a month of it selling. Not to mention just yesterday I read our internal reports that we will be recieving further shipment. anyways again ill confirm in an hour anyways |

Re: TP2 Being replaced by the Imagio
They are not going to "replace" a smartphone with a HW keyboard with a soft keyboard version. There is no reason for them to discontinue the TP2. It s a solid phone. Verizon learned from it's mistake when they tried to sell a crippled TouchPro.
While the VCast feature is nice, the TP2 is it's own phone & is selling well above the expectations of Verizon, which is why it is out of stock. Spreading rumors regarding the TP2's impending "doom" is silly & completely without merit.

Re: TP2 Being replaced by the Imagio
Good point, means they'll probably replace the tp2 with tp3 for those that have insurance... not to add to much fuel to this fire but I remember VZW doing that with the Moto v710 and the e815. So I guess march was it? That might be the time to "break" my phone =)
