I bet you the driver delivered to the wrong house. I remember when I got other peoples stuff that lived on the next block over.

Argh. I asked the seller about the the unfiled claim on my lost package and he still hasn't replied! It's been 24 hours. Should I just call my credit card company and try to cancel the transaction? If I do, will it put me in any trouble with paypal and ebay?

As i advised before cantact ebay for item not recieved also paypal and your cc

Because he chose not to have signature verification is not your fault

you did not recieve the item ebay and paypal hold funds for 3 days after delivery date to insure all parties are satisfied.

His none response and no lost item ups filed not a good sign that he is willing to assist you because they have your funds

Stop being naive protect your self and file the proper claims

You have done nothing wrong the seller should have protected his self by requiring a signature

A side note i just sold a phone on ebay the buyer tried to claim he did not recieve the phone except i Had UPS signature to verify he had recieved and signed for the phone himself if i did not have this signature i would have had to refund his money

Ebay and paypal are there to assist you in resolve these issues

The problem on ebay is more and more bad transactions are hurting thier reputation

But I thought if I would file a claim with paypal, they will see that the package was delivered and automatically favor the seller in the case. Would anyone care to shed some light on that?

Again file the claim with Ebay for non recieved item then advise paypal of the situation they will give you all your option

Item was deleivered but not to you, you have no fault in this transaction other than not protecting your interest.

The seller seems to realise he made a huge mistake and hopes you don't force the issue.

Now if you feel lke you got what you payed for then take it as a lesson learned and just buy another phone from a legitimate source.

Even though you get the address it didn't require a signature so you still won't know where it actually is. I think you should just go through paypal or your credit card company.

Get the seller's phone number and call. Go into advanced search and you'll have to enter the item number and their user name if I remember correctly. Its been a LONG time since I've used eBay.

I guess I will call the seller tomorrow because it's pretty late on his side of the country
