Dang, I have to wait until tomorrow before the seller replies to anything because he only works on business days =.= wish me luck! If he files the investigation/tracer thing on the package, problems will be solved right? They'll either find the package and give it to me or won't find it and reimburse the money?

I doubt the investigation really does anything. I remember when I lost a package and a signature wasn't required. The driver said he put it in my mailbox and that was it and they told me to contact the sender. I ended up just calling my credit card company and they refunded my money.

But wouldn't that put the seller in a bad spot? or would he be reimbursed anything?

Ask the seller for the ESN. If the seller gives it to you, and puts it in the contract that bought that phone from him, you can then call Sprint and they can track whether or not someone else tried to activate your new phone.

If the seller won't give that to you, I would be suspect of the seller.

never use ups, alwyas use fedex. they will hold it for you at the depot.

ups is like wiping your *** with a coarse piece of sandpaper didded in ghost pepper sauce

lol.. how did you pay? visa or bank account with paypal? if visa definitely go through visa.. they will open their own investigation...

Both UPS, and FedEx depots are 45-60 mins away....wouldnt be a good thing....id rather them leave it at my door...i hate having signatures on items, i normally dont hear the doorbell ring or i am not home when the driver comes...

I used the paypal with credit card. I might try the ESN method Tpeazy mentioned but I have to wait until tomorrow. The seller doesn't seem to answer his email until weekdays =.=

well thats good you paid with a credit card via paypal. that will make it easy if it comes down to you denying you got it and your bank refunding you, there is a big difference in credit and check cards when it comes to refunds like such.

however, yes, i would try the esn first, just hope whoever got it is stupid enough to activate it. did you ever try houses close to you? and i would still be on ups's case. trying to find out exactly what they did wrong

I bought my first one through ebay from a seller named bt_is_you, but the phone came directly from Sprint...weird. The TP2 had over 25 stuck pixels on it, so I returned it to him. Seller said he would issue a refund, but I never got it. I had to file a dispute on PayPal against the seller, who also canceled his eBay account, so PayPal withdrew the money from his PayPal account and gave it back to me since there was delivery confirmation on my return.

It took me way too long to get my money back to order a new TP2. I just got my new one today (from another eBay seller). Ridiculous.

I hope your situation works out. I would file a dispute with PayPal and say you never received it.
