Re: 2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint

I recevied 2 of these this week. I ordered them about 3 weeks ago. I've been using the one for a couple days now and I have to say I am pretty happy with the results. It is lasting longer than my stock battery. How much, I can't exactly say because I tend to not kill a charge in one day and I charge every night.

Where I seemed to notice a boost was when running programs on the phone. This battery doesn't seem to be draining as fast as the stock battery. When running programs with the stock battery, it dropped pretty fast. This one seems a bit slower. Now, I have noticed(as someone else said), when it gets down to around %30 or so, it seems to lose it's charge a bit faster than when above it. So for those with the battery, keep an eye on it, when it gets low.

I'm only on my 2nd charge with these batteries, so we'll see how they progress. All in all tho, these were so worth(assuming they don't explode ) the $9.50 per battery I spent on them(paid $20 for 2, which INCLUDED shipping and got a $1 refund shortly after ordering). Plus, I got a micro USB reader with it too.

Re: 2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint

Two quick questions for me.

1) I saw I received them in my mailbox yesterday, but forgot to grab them. It's 16 degrees out, should I be worried about them?

2) Are we still worried about over charging these suckers? I would like to charge them overnight, but don't want to wake up to smoke, a melted phone, or fireworks.

I think I will grab one. For $10 who really cares if it is real or not.

So I got a response to my ebay question:

Q: Are your batteries genuine Andida batteries which can be verified on their anti-counterfeit website? All genuine batteries have a code which can be entered here http://www.andida.hk/enfangwei/

A: Hi yes dont worry, we are one of the agent which get items from their factory directly. Thanks

Well, take a look at the screen shots of the battery, posted previously in this thread here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=281 . Unless it is written in Chinese and I can't interpret that, there is not a number on the battery that is long enough to fit in that 16 space code verification box. Those screen shots are what my battery looks like exactly.

There is a number on it, starting with GB/T and there is also what looks like and authentication hologram type sticker with 8 digits on it, if you look closely.

**EDIT**

That site you posted is whacky as heck. When you goto the products while you see pictures of batteries, the wording for decorations, stickers... WTH?

Sorry for a possibly stupid question but ... I'm wondering if the tilt2 takes the same battery as the Sprint Touch Pro 2. (Can I try this battery you are all talking about on my AT&T phone?) TIA

I definitely can tell a difference, and besides that, compared to my last phone, the touch pro, I gotta say, this has turned out to make my phone NORMAL like everyone else's (which is a good thing lol.)
how long have you had the battery for. i only have it for about 3 days and it seems to be the same as the OEM. By the way the battery works as good has the OEM. some people claim the battery last longer then OEM but this is not the case for me. Also how many of you have a BT connected to your phone all day. and about how many He do you talk on the phone. Can anyone come up with some kind of test. I dont really know what to test it with.

I have the seidio 1750, which works well.. i cant tell which is better..
this china batt does seem to drain the last 30-40 % VERY fast.. which then means we really arent geting 2000 mh out of it..
my bluetooth is always on, and I use the phone A LOT....
so i can really say which last longer.. i just charge when i can and hope i make the day.

Re: 2000mah spare battery for htc touch pro 2 sprint

The 3200 battery may extend the battery life nicely, but it adds thickness to the already thick phone, requiring the new back, and costs $90. At that price I could buy 9 of these other batteries and swap them out when I need them. While I'll welcome the review of the 3200 monster, I think I'll stick with the $10 version for now.
