Re: Sprint dropped price of Touch Pro 2 to $199
i think Jocelyn84 is right
i think fraud would be someone using a citi member id to obtain the tp2 at that price but because sprint site does not ask you to verify that you work for the company and the contract does not ask you to to agree that you are a member then i dont see sprint having a strong case against this issue. now based on the moral issue, this is morally wrong.. but (my opinion) corporate America is the last place to look for any moral values in corporations. they can probably move you from the business account if u cant verify that you work at the company, but i think because the receipt doesnt say its a business account, i think u have a strong arguement to be able to still keep the discount price while being off the business account. |

I would suggest this might rise to the level of improper moral conduct. I've been struggling with that all day as I've played with my touch pro 2 I got for $199 (flat). IMO the phone is worth about that... that was the price I was going to pay, so that was the price I got it for. I'm not sure about others, but I'm of the mind that sprint knows about stuff like this... it seems too convenient to me... Same people like you were complaining when sero hit... years later we find out from the sprint ceo sero was "marketing" for sprint. Hmm... ironic. Giving sprint's history, this latest "special" could be their latest marketing gimmick. Don't you agree that is possible? LOL Bottom line is you are fast to criticize without fully thinking about the subject. Last edited by mobilevader; 10-17-2009 at 09:31 PM. |

Re: Sprint dropped price of Touch Pro 2 to $199
Look the fact is ....to order the phone you have to log into YOUR account not Citi's account...If the website does not update the right info when you do. so you can order the phone....how is that my fault????

Re: Sprint dropped price of Touch Pro 2 to $199
Yeah....its pretty much just a moral issue..... there should be no legal ramification. It's like when you go to McDonald's your total is supposed to be $10.00 but the cashier is retarded and tells you your total is $5.00. Do you tell the cashier she is wrong and pay more money or just pay the $5.00? LOL. That's my analogy i'm hungry. The only difference is that with the Sprint deal you know you are getting a lower price right from the get go.

Analogies kinda suck in this case anyway... but the bottom line is this is not fraud... but a moral issue... maybe not even that if this is another marketing stunt by sprint! |

Re: Sprint dropped price of Touch Pro 2 to $199
That sprint.com/apple doesnt work for sero users. My TP is on the brink of death and I am tired of swaping it for another useless TP.
Can anyone recommend another site where I can get the TP2 for 199? Any help is appreciated. Ive failed trying to call and be polite to customer service, echat, and email have been all useless. |
