TV Out Stopped Working...

Has anybody experienced being able to use TV Out one day and not the next? I have the official TV Out Cable from HTC. In the past, I used TV Out on my Verizon Touch Pro 2 and tried using it today and it doesn't do anything.

To be sure there was nothing wrong with my cable, I tried TV Out on my Touch Pro and it worked fine. Could it be something I installed? I really don't want to hard reset until the unlocker comes out, unless I have too. Any ideas? Has this happened to anybody else?

I noticed the port is alot loose than the TP 1's.

Might be just a defect.

have you tried a soft reset? if that doesn't work i would do a back up, and try a hard reset, just to make sure it's not a hardware issue.

I think this may be the case, although no sort of jiggling at all will make a connection.

I tried a soft reset and also finally tried a hard reset. Neither worked. Do you think I should call Verizon and ask for another device? Will they let me hold onto this one until they get more in? I also really don't want a refurb either.

This really sucks, as I have an invisible shield installed on the device as well and will have to buy another one.

It's all luck on replacements so can't be said much there.

As far as the shield goes, if you got it from them directly, they will replace the shield.

I got one on my Iphone replaced 4 times due to defective phone, and they replaced it all 4 times. They do charge for shipping, and you have to return the old used one each time though.

Mine did it once but a soft reset fixed it and no problrms after that.

I bought the shield from Invisible Shield. Verizon doesn't sell the full body covers.

I tried another hard reset and multiple soft resets and still no luck. I just don't understand it. It worked fine when I first got it and I never bumped the cord when it was inserted into the phone.

I just got off the one with Verizon and they are replacing my phone with a new one, once they get more in stock.
