Thats odd.. i loaned a friend of mine a xv6700 i have to use until she replaced her phone and they required her to add a data plan. I wonder if she just got an arse for a csr or what... i wil have to look into this further.. i know with AT&T you have to have a data plan on any smart/ppc phone unless you havent upgraded or dont change your plan.
