Re: Sprint now replacing Touch Pro w/ Touch Pro 2!

SO- If I *just* got Touch Pro phone replaced with another Touch Pro before this started (last week), can I still make a claim or must I wait 30 days between claims?

I'll admit, I do like the D-pad and Flash light, however the hardware heating up issue is a real one and something I could/would complain about...

I don't think they will switch it unless you actually have problems and they need to replace the phone again

Its all up to the store. Some have said they just walked in pulled their TP1 out of their pockets and the rep, takes the phone no questions asked and hands them a TP2. I think it just depends on the store. Others said they got TP1 replaced with TP1.

How about the fact that I can't make an hour long conference call without the phone getting too hot to touch... or that when it reaches that point the battery won't charge because there is a temp gauge that thinks the battery is overheating from it...
I'd say those are legitimate problems, whether they are specific to my device or not.

I guess your phone does have problems and you should take it in to the store. I don't think it matters if its 30 days or not. I know the online replacement thing has to be 30 days though

Sprint advised me that the Touch Pro 2 has been removed from the WEl list.
only options through the tech support or instore visit through the advance exchange system instore do not include the TP2

a new radio and some nueTools will help drop the heat factor of the phone dramatically!! There is still some heat buildup...but nothing like it was when it was stock. Oh...a suggestion for the TP1 owner
