no luck iwas in the store today they offer black berry and treo ,iasked touch pro 2 the ag told me that touch pro 2 can not be as replacment ,after fighting and cancell my service still no luck ,here in greensboro nc

My screen is "peeling off". Looks like there's a top plastic layer and a second plastic layer under that. I have to press on the HTC logo on the bottom of the screen for the touch screen to work.

Would they count that as a cracked screen?

I went to the store here twice and they said they can just order me another touch pro but then all the sudden on the 11th they were like well ok a tp2 will be here in two days

What do you mean is this still going on? It's kind of YMMV......... it's going to depend on whats wrong with your TP and your store.

It's ultimately just up to them.

Thanks for the reply, I'm just having that known keyboard issue. I've been using the screen to type. I was just under the impression that sprint has ran out of stock on refurbished tp's and new tp's so they were sending tp2's instead.

Some people have gotten them, some people have not.... There are still refurb TP's to go around.

Walk into the store, tell them whats wrong with the phone.. if you have TEP tell them you would like to select a new phone because of the issue, hope for the best.

I got a refurb TP2 a couple days ago... I can tell because all I was handed was a phone and a charger, not even a manual...it has some hangup issues but works well overall...I suspect the hangups are why it became a refurb in the first place, and I'll likely exchange out when the dust settles...btw, it definitely took some time and effort to accomplish this exchange, so the stories of NIBs flying off the shelf I think are likely few and far between...I was having an issue on my 4th or 5th TP, had just had a hard reset and lost some stuff, and went into the store...they agreed I should not have to suffer through another TP1 and offered the Treo Pro, BB and Snap as alternatives...I politely explained that I have a lot of WinMo apps and a lot VGA specific...hence ruling out the BB (which also adds $$$ to my monthly plan), the snap as it's not a PPC, and the screen resolution on the Treo...the only natural comp was a TP2, which was not in stock, or they said they'd have given me one...they made notes on my account, and after an hour on the phone, I found a rep who called every store in my area and finally tracked down one of the few refurbs available for trade (no NIBs had hit the stores in the NY Metro area at all)...I went, and after another hour in the store, walked out with a TP2...again, a unit I'll probably have to exchange, but this phone is so much better than the TP1 it's worth the effort...the battery lasts FOREVER compared to the TP1 and although the phone is bigger and bulkier, still fits fine in my front pocket, and the bigger screen and MUCH better speaker are well worth the tradeoff...

I am having trouble with my moguls screen, and I doubt they will be able to fix it. Do you think they will just bypass the TP1 and give me a TP2? :D
