Re: Best car kit for landscape GPS cradle?

Anyone try this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=180416083764
It seems pretty cool how it can use the cig lighter for the stand. For trucks this may work well. I am thinking about it. any comments? $15 for it and comes with a car charger. Thought it was odd the USB is only rated for 500ma, is that enough or would you need to use the cig lighter for it? if not enough, why have?

Re: Best car kit for landscape GPS cradle?

Can anyone who has purchased this mount:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_3126wt_857

... do me a favor and measure the diameter of the ball-joint's "ball" (in mm)?

Also, I need to confirm that this fit's Verizon's TP2. The ebay seller said it's GSM only but there are a couple users here seem to be using it with the Verizon TP2. Just need to be sure...

I would appreciate it greatly!

Ben

this would work absolutely BEST atleast for my car. i own a pontiac g6 GT. the cigarette lighter socket is located right in the mddle just below the tuner. great positioning!

Re: Best car kit for landscape GPS cradle?

I ordered this one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Hope it fits the CDMA Sprint TP2. I'm not going to use the included gooseneck mount, I already have one hard mounted in my cars using the four prong Richter mount. And it looks like the one on eBay has the standard 4 pring Richter mount.

So, I'll only have to carry around the snap on part of the car mount. Or, I'll probably just buy another one for the other car since they're so cheap.

Re: Best car kit for landscape GPS cradle?

Anyone using the mount like this have issues with it scuffing the finish of the TP2?

Re: Best car kit for landscape GPS cradle?

My 2 cents on a mount. I've been searching for one I like and finally found one at Best Buy. (even though I hate that place...crazy) Here it is:
